An enormous Earthquake near North Sumatra afflicted the South East Asian region. I have family and friends on Java, I hope they are alright. Bhree, who is an Indonesian member of the G-Forum was in Japan, so he is safe.

Some visitors were worried about the new pictures of Anne. The fact is I sneaky even made some more pictures of her while she was studying. I added two (!) new pages of her.

Karen is not so happy with her title "Not G-People". This is about how the conversation on MSN went: "The next time I'm around on school you hook me on  a watch and take pictures of me...." "Do you want to be watched?" "Yes, of course!!!". She's studying on the other side of the country, so it can take a very long time before she's around... What do you think, Karen like,

or like

hmmm... or Anime Karen?

Why do girls always do that thing with their feet??? What ever....

I bought a new Mountain Bike today. It's a Bulls Comp 750 hard tail. It has  Shimano DX groups and Hydraulic disk brakes.  Of course it's in my favorite color... Red. I think I'm going to give my Extreme new Shimano LX groups (Crank and front blades, front and rear derailleur and a new LX cassette). It will cost me at least about €200,-, but I think it's worth it. I can't wait spring to begin.....

Tomorrow I will be to the "Winter Efteling". It's a very big fairy like amusement park. I will be probably very busy until New Year. My friends come over, so I have to arrange Food, beer and champagne. I guess my G-Shock's will be handy for the final 2005 countdown. Probably this will be the last news update until New Year, so from G-Peopleland I all wish you a very happy and cheerful New Year. I hope you all wear your G-Shock's and Baby-G's in good health. CHEERS!!!!

Saturday, December 25th 2004

Merry Christmas everybody. I hope you'll have great holidays! I just "survived" the first Christmas dinner, tomorrow I will have the second (we celebrate two Christmas days). No problem, it will be Indonesian food.... I shall have to do more exercises next year, ha ha. I had saved some money for a new Mountain bike,  so hopefully I can buy one between now and the next two months... In the meantime I can fix my old one. It needs a new Shimano LX group and I need to fix the margin cranks. Further not much G-News, although (!), after these days I will increase the G's I'm causing on these Earth a lot...

So wuzzup in G-Peopleland the past week. Another G-701RD Legendary Pride came in yesterday, so I can wear one. Also I got another DW-6400 in very good shape. I'm still waiting for the maroon GL-100V, but now it's close to Christmas, so I'm afraid that it will be very delayed.

I also found some nice "Hustler" T-Shirts. Ever seen the movie "The People versus Larry Flint"? I guess I'm not going to wear it at school, but they look great for going out.

It looks like it's about Christmas time on eBay too. There are just a little interesting models on auction. Very good for my wallet.

I went to Belgium last week for a Christmas Beer hunt. I placed a post on the Lifestyle Forum of Watch U Seek. If you like to read it, you'll find it here! Guess what we drink during the holidays...

Friday, December 17th 2004

I guess you'll have noticed. I redesigned my front-page. Richel helped me photo shop the main pictures.  I couldn't make the G-Logo appear on the picture like it is now. Do you like it??? I'm still suffering from a heavy sinusitis, so it's time to turn into my bed now...

Wednesday, December 15th 2004

I had a busy day at school. A lot of pupils need to finish their practical experiments before the holydays. Anne came by, and managed to get some time to take some great pics of her with my Real Black Mudman. I haven't finished the page yet, but I'll give you a teaser....

Monday, December 13th 2004

Yep, I forgot to make two pages. I traveled 60 km to collect my new red DW-8150 of the Techno series, so how could I forget to make a page for this. A good reader would Friday have read that I had photographed a Xaymaca Baby-G, before making pictures of Suzanne. Well, I've completed these pages for your viewing pleasure. I'm still waiting for a DW-6400 and a maroon GL-100V, but I have already one of both models. Have fun!

------------------------------

Sunday, December 12th 2004

It's cold and dark outside. A good day to work on my website. I'm completely updated with all my new models and my G-People section.

It was very funny to look back at the pictures I made of Suzanne. I also added new pictures and a new background on Cassie's page.

I made up a page for my G-701RD of the "Legendary Pride" series. It is a stainless steel watch with green accents and a ivory white dial. The models of this series were designed in cooperation with Car Magazine by Bow, their car illustrator. The color schemes are adapted from the 1960's rally cars and all watches com in a show box with a little postcard, illustrated by Bow.

Another strange watch in G-Peopleland. I found a red DW-003 with a Coca Cola bottle on it.  It's practically the same as my basic red DW-003, and I don't know the background of this model. I think this was made in small numbers to give away as a price in a Coca Cola contest or were given away to Coca Cola Sales representatives.

Since I do not expect any interesting G-Shock models in the next weeks (weren't there not enough past two months?) I think this will probably be the last update for some days, but you'll never know...

------------------------------

Saturday, December 11th 2004

Today I added two pages. The first one is for the G-700D of the Cockpit series, like the one Bart is wearing. It's an awesome watch and I love wearing it.

The other one is is for the DW-5300. It's a bit late model in the DW-5X00 series, released February 1994, with a green light bulb and a four screw back plate, in stead of the screw back's fond on most other early DW-5X00 models. This model is also known as "Mission Impossible", because Tom Cruise, who seems to be a G-Shock lover, wears one in that movie.

Today the red DW-003 with the Coca Cola promotion arrived. It looks exactly like the other basic  red DW-003 that I got in October, only this one has a small Coca Cola bottle on the Watchband.

Friday, December 10th 2004

I'm suffering from sinusitis again, but the painkillers do their job well. It was a long day at school today. Just around noon two pupils came to the ß-lab to go further on their Liqueur project. It became a very long afternoon, making flavor mixtures and filtering a lot of spirits and buying ingredients. One of these pupils is Suzanne. While her partner was going to the shop for a bottle of Jameson Whiskey, Suzanne grabbed my polar cap. "Look", she said: "now I look just like Nikita, from the Elton John video clip". It looked very funny. She's not very big, but my hat is... So we decided to make a few shots with the hat and the XAYMACA Baby-G that I had just been photographing.

Funny detail is that Suzanne popped up several times on the G-Forum and also in this news section. When you take pictures of something, she seems to have a pretty good nose how to get also on it as surprise. Remember this Barbapapa T-Shirt picture???

Guess who's that girl walking on the  back. The pictures of Suus, as she is often called, will be soon on-line.

I didn't have to stay with these pupils all the time, so at the end of the afternoon I went down stairs, where I heard some sounds coming from the music classroom. There was a band jamming. On of my first G-People, Cassie was singing in that band. It was very funny. The guys wanted her to make some noises through the mike while they played. She said: "I can't do that, my parents will be watching". Well, that was about the last mouth I was expecting these words from... Cassie didn't wear her Baby-G for a long time, but the last weeks I noticed her with her bright yellow watch around her wrists (and she noticed m noticing, very funny). I already made some pictures earlier in the Library, so I made some nice pics of her sitting behind the drums. These will be added soon on her page.

Thursday, December 9th 2004

Sorry for not writing much news last week. Not that there wasn't much. In contrary, but I had a very busy time. I also bought a Korg Electribe ER-mkII drumsynthesizer, which keeps me also busy.

It was a great collecting week in G-Peopleland. I bought two G-701RD-7A's. This model is inspired on the colors of Rally Cars of the '60s. One of the watches is for me and the other one for my colleague Paul D., who is a big car racing fan. He looked very happy when he saw his packet on his desk this morning.

I also got a very nice XAYMACA Baby G.  I bought it for just $2,- (and $18,- shipping costs) as used, but it looks brand new.

I'm thinking of a special section for my Non-G-Shock watches. I have for example a  Barcode made by Tokyo time Evolution,  a Pro Trek PRG-50 and a Waveceptor.  Maybe it's interesting to put it in a special corner. Richel had made very nice pictures of my Barcode already.

I found out that the page of Bart wasn't working properly when you want to view it from the G-People page, but that problem is now solved. Talking about Bart, I received the G-700D, just like his at the beginning of the week. It's a great watch.

I also found out that I had three G-Shock's of the model Anne is wearing on her page. I decided to give her one of them, so she's a real G-People now. She was very happy with it. I heard her talking to herself, when she walked down the stairs of the school:" Now I finally got a watch".

Yesterday I received a brand new DW-5300. I'm also expecting a basic red DW-002 with Coca Cola promotion on it and a DW-6400 these days.

I have finally put the Seaman, Fisherman and the DW-056 Silver Dragon on-line. The G-700D, G-701RD and the XAYMACA Baby-G will follow later.

Thursday, December 2nd 2004

Today I went to Goes, a city 30 km from where I live, to collect a package containing a red DW-8140. It's a beauty. This means I have a lot of work to do the coming days.

From the 100 fresh batteries, that I received yesterday, are 8 already placed in dead G-Shock's.

Finally, the page for Anne is on-line. I don't know why, but on the moment I write this, Stevie Wonder sings on the Television: "Isn't she lovely".

My 21 Century Boys series are complete, since I have my Gio Estevez model. This is also my most beaten up watch in this series. One of the labels is missing from the watchband. I hope to find a complete one in the future.

Got this Flyer today... Why wasn't I in Chicago back in 1986. Check out, Fast Eddie, Lil'Louis, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Marshall Jefferson and Adonis.... This must have been a great evening.

Wednesday, December 1st 2004

It's getting cold in Middelburg, but it's colder and darker in Norway. I went out for a drink with some Norwegian Colleagues in my favorite pub "De Mug". I introduced them into some good beers. I learned that where they live (actually a few hundreds of kilometers above the polar circle!) it's now continuous dark. There is only a little bit of twilight at noon only. One of them could tell great stories about how to get beer in Norway. You got to order it by phone in a so called Monopoly State store, located 75 km south. You can only have 24 bottles at the time (not 1 or 2, nor 25 or 26). The beer is delivered by bus the next week and the whole village will be looking out who had ordered that. They were much surprised that I even teach my pupils to brew beer...

Today I took pictures of a very special G-People. She is called Anne and I think she's the perfect G-Girl. Although she's not the type of person who is on the foreground, she looks like the girl who goes out side, grabs a board and do some awesome tricks, while nobody is looking. I wanted her on my G-People gallery for a long time and now finally I've asked her. Unfortunately I was barely at home tonight (I just dropped in, and I'm dieing for my bed now), so the pictures will be on-line soon. Probably more will come up later. It seems she had a good time. She has a great taste as well...

Yesterday a package arrived with: a Gulfman, a Seaman, a Pro Trek PRG-50 and a Silver Dragon DW-5600. Today I also received a DW-002 Adrastos. It was in almost mint shape, better than I thought it would be. I also got a envelope with 100 CR-2016 Batteries! I can change batteries until 2007!!!

I think I will make a special place to show my other Casio's and some other watches. Anne showed much interests in my Tokyo Time Evolution Barcode, just like Richel did. If you are very curious about Anne, just check the picture on November the 16th, there she is drinking Coke. Well I'm off to bed now, Bye Bye!

Monday, November 29th 2004

I survived another heavy weekend. My friend Bleephead celebrated his birthday and we drunk a lot of beers. Obviously a little bit too many... It took my the whole Sunday to come back alive :-)

My Colleague Paul D. saw a G-Shock model designed for Car Magazine by Bow. These models are called Legendary Pride and have a color scheme  reflecting to the colors of racecars from the '60. I couldn't resist and ordered another one for myself.

I'm still waiting for a package containing a Gulfman, a Seaman, a DW-5600E and a Protrek PRG-50. I don't know why it takes so long, but I hope it will arrive tomorrow, or soon anyway.

I won several other auctions of interesting models. The first is a DW-002 with a reversed display. It's called Adrastos in Germany.

I won a nice used brown Baby-G. It has a yellowish brown double Velcro watchband. Maybe it has melody alarms, but I'm not sure.

I also won a red DW-003 model promoting Coca Cola. It's the same version as my red basic model, but this one features the image of a Coca Cola bottle on the watchband. Although a basic version, it looks great.

Top of the crown, I found a brand new DW-5300 in Germany. It looks a bit like my DW-6800, but this one has a light bulb in stead of an Electro Luminescent Backlight. It was released February 1994 and a brand new one should be hard to find.

All I need to do is wait for all these watches to arrive, along with the DW-8150 and the G-700D.

------------------------------

Wednesday, November 24th 2004

Richel had some ideas for my website. He's is doing very mysterious about it. He's a very good photographer and is also very good in composing photo's in Photoshop. I'm very curious.

I couldn't let the red metallic DW-8150 of the Techno Series go. I have a green version, but red is my favorite color. I placed a bid and won the auction.

I also found a G-700D for a very nice price, so I also bought that one. Ever since I saw that one in person (Tuesday, November 16th 2004) , I wanted this watch. Check out the other pictures I made during the debaters  school trip, besides of Bart!

I have a huge pile of G-Shock's with dead batteries. I decided to change a lot of batteries myself. I just bought 100 Maxel CR-2016 batteries last night.

Well, that's a lot of G-News already, although nothing did come in yet... Just Stay Tuned!

------------------------------

Thursday, November 18th 2004

Today a DW-003 arrived of the 21 st C.B. series arrived. It's a pretty abused Gio Estevez. The case is still looking good, but the one of the labels on the watchband is torn off, while the other is loosing paint. It has a great EL display, but I don't know what it represents yet. The label on the end of the band says "Timing is Everything" in mirror image.

------------------------------

Wednesday, November 17th 2004

Another busy day today. Eva is sick, so I have extra work to do. Still I managed to do some work for the website. I added the two Reggae versions of the DW-003TL model. They arrived the beginning of the week, one day at the time. I can't find anything about this model on the net, so they are probably both a rare item. One of them has a reggae colored camouflage pattern on the display and XAYMACA written in the EL-Display. The name Jamaica is derived from the Arawak name Xaymaca, which means "The land of wood and water". I know there are other models with the Xaymaca logo, but they are all different of these two models.

Yesterday I bought four watches. One of them is a Pro-Trek PRG-50T, the other ones are G-Shock's. The first is a special version of the DW-5600, the second one a DW-8600 Fisherman and the last one is a DW-9950 Seaman. Just after I bought them I heard there was a red metallic version of the DW-8140 on auction on eBay (AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!, why are they always come together!!!!)

I'm off to bed now, have fun

------------------------------

Tuesday, November 16th 2004

I went to Belgium to accompany students to a debating contest between two Dutch and two Belgium schools. One of the Bartenders wore a nice big metal G-Shock. I was encouraged by a student (Anne, see picture below) to take a picture of him. He liked the attention to his watch. He just bought it a week ago at an airport. It is a G-700D, a full metal G-Shock. It looked awesome. Thanks Bart!

Sunday, November 14th 2004

Wow, I'm barely alive, but I survived I Love Techno 2004 yesterday night. The best part was the live performance of "The Prodigy".  The worst thing was that 35,000 people wanted to come into hall that maximal can hold 8,000-10,000 people. I manage to sneak in, but I was one of the last people let into the room and it was worth it. It's one of the best performances I've ever seen. What an energy, What an noise!

I have spotted a lot of G-Shock's, but it wasn't allowed to take any camera's with you, so you must believe me. Further I've seen Ivan Smagghe (very good unknown DJ), Felix da Housecat, Richie Hawtin, Stijn (with his funny strip show) and Miss Kittin. I wanted to see Dave Clarke, but again, there was too much crowd in that room, so I didn't come in.

Yesterday I got a Reggae edition of the DW003TL. I think it was a very limited European release, because I've never seen this color scheme for sale before. I'm also expecting another similar G-Shock from Chicago. From the pictures it looked that the display is different from the one I already got now.

I have them for weeks now, but finally, I've got to additions in the Vintage section. The first one is the DW-6000, released November 1990, and the second one is the DW-6800, released February 1995. The last one is a bit doubtful. It has a EL backlight, it still isn't 10 years old, but then again, it has the classic square style as found on the early DW-5X00 versions, combined with the looks from bulky the G-Shocks (think of the DW-6400, DW-8040).

I've only slept a few hours this morning, so I turn in early tonight... Cheers!

------------------------------

Thursday, November 11th 2004

Yesterday I got the very limited edition MRG-200T, special made for the finalists of the Toyota Trophy 1999 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary. The normal version was made of Stainless steel, but this model is made of Titanium. It was only distributed under the officials and directors of Manchester United and Palmeiras. It is a bit darker grey in color and weighs very light. I used  Richel's photo studio again to make pictures. It's about time I got such a studio myself.

------------------------------

Tuesday, November 9th 2004

Finally I had time to make pictures of my new GW-1210CE-4AVER Firestorm.  I used the photo studio in Richel's Classroom. Richel took also some pictures to make some artist impressions. The light conditions in the photo studio were terrific, so check out the great pictures on both pages.

------------------------------

Monday, November 8th 2004

About a month ago I got two G-Shock's from the G-Lide series. They are both a DW-6900 model with a 1449 module (not a Triple Eyed Devil). The first one was a grey version. The second one is a  vanilla/beige colored model. It's a very nice color and it shows different shades under different light conditions. I think it's a very special , because I haven't seen this color before.

------------------------------

Sunday, November 7th 2004

After a very busy week I decided to go fun shopping with Bram downtown yesterday. We ended up in our favorite coffee shop (this is a place where they sell all kinds of coffee's and tea's!) St. John. I met an old friend, Thijs. He was a theater technician, but now he is studying sound techniques on the Academy for Film. We drunk some coffee (I have a special "Sjors Coffee") and discussed a lot of sound, web and photo things. while Bram was playing with toy cars and drunk a Fristy.

He was there with a friend called Ingrid, who has a web log. Unfortunately it's in Dutch. When we were about to visit his small audio studio (which was amazingly very good equipped!), I saw a young men and his girlfriend sitting on the other side of St. John. I had no camera with me, but I could lend Thijs his camera. I walked to this guy, who appeared to be Quentin. He was much surprised with my question, but he was also very interested in my hobby. We found out he was an old student of my school and he also remembered the me as a DJ. His Baby-G never leaves his side. He had it for 7 years already. The band shows some wear, but is still strong and the case still looks pretty good. He has surfed and swum a lot with it in sea, so he was not particularly nice for it.  Thanks Thijs, for lending your camera!

Some old students have visited me at school this week. First Mirte and her friend Ilona came along. I always though University would be a very busy, but they were both free for study for two weeks. Friday Karen came by. We had a very nice chat about living in Eindhoven and her busy life as a musician. Besides her study for speech therapist, she also plays in three(!) orchestras spread over the country.

I almost forgot. I won a very special auction past Friday. There was a very special Titanium MR-G from the Toyota Cup on auction. This one was not for sale and were a present for the directors and officials of Manchester United after winning the Toyota Cup 1999 in Tokyo. The model number is MR-G-200T.

------------------------------

Tuesday, November 2nd 2004

Yesterday I got my GW-1210-4AVER. It's awesome. Specially the LED light. In my dark bedroom I can use it as a torch! It's the brightest light I have ever seen on a watch. I shall make some pics soon.

Remember that student on September the 30th? Her name is Anne, and I think she's the perfect G-Shock girl. She was looking for her keys in one of my classrooms at the end of the day, so I finally could ask her. She didn't like the picture I took. She said she didn't like the (safety) glasses. I hope to get her on my camera soon. She's looks definitely everything G-Shock stands for (young, brave, rough and sturdy).

Well, I must be going to my monthly Beer Tasting Evening in The Mug. Cheers!!!

------------------------------

Sunday, October 31st 2004

I've been away for a few days to my sisters Thea family, who lives in the North of the Netherlands. We had a good time. I spotted some G-Shock's at the jewelers over there. One had a G-Cool GT-004 for sale. Unfortunately the price was €249,-, which is way over my budget since I bought a GW-1210-4AVER last week. I think it will be a very quiet G-Month, since I bought a nice pair of shoes and a lot of other stuff during my visit to my sister and with "I Love Techno" coming up in two weeks.

When I returned home yesterday, I found 3 G-Shock's waiting for me. Unfortunately they all were with a run out battery. I found a CR-2016, so I managed to revive the DW-6000. This could be a nice one for in my vintage section, because this one has a light bulb in stead of Electro Luminescent  backlight. The other watches were a hardly worn Double Velcro Maroon/Grey DW-003 and a DW-6800. I hope to make some pictures of the DW-6000 and the DW-6800 in the next week so I can put them on-line.

It's wintertime again. This means I have to put all my G-Shock's one hour back. I guess it will be a 3 day job again.... I already turned back two, I have to wear something. Of course my GW-300 has corrected itself to the Atomic Clock of Mainflingen, Germany.

I found another Fake Frogman model for sale on eBay. I added the picture on my Fake Frogman page. This one looks very real, but if you look close enough you'll see that both the upper add lower display has two lines. The DW-8200 has only two lines in the lower display, the DW-9900 has only two lines in the upper display.

I'm very curious for the GW-1210, which should be on it's way to my around this time. I hope to have it before the end of the week. I'll keep you posted.

Monday, October 25th 2004

I had a great weekend. Saturday I went to my favorite discotheque Café d'Anvers in Antwerp. The DJ line up was very good, King Britt, Josh Wink and John Acquaviva. It's probably one of the best nights I ever had. Raw acid and pure analogical dance music made me stuck on the dance floor for more than 5 hours.

Sunday I went to a science exhibition in our local library, t make children enthusiast for technical subjects. There was a stand of a scienentist that demonstrated nano robots, smaller than an ant. He showed a wafer, with a Ø of about 10 cm, filled with dozens of those robots. The best part was the Dutch Aibo Club. They had released about a dozen Aibo's in the cellar of the library. You could pet them and the owners gave a lot of info when you asked for specific questions. I think I'm going to save some big money for an Aibo... They are too cute.

Today I got a G-Shock Rash Guard (a surf shirt that keeps you a bit warm if he ocean is cold). It was a little too small for me, but it looks great! Also go a Leatherman Supertool 200. I already owned a Supertool for more than 6 years, but I accidentally broke of a diamond file by standing on it, trying to open a crate with chemicals. I guess files are not made for that purpose, so the 25 year guaranty won't apply to that I guess....

Thursday, October 21st 2004

The Autumn vacation starts a little bit early for me. Not that I not have to work, but tomorrow I go with a bus of students (our own and Italian exchange students) for an excursion to Amsterdam. We are going to visit the " Van Gogh Museum"  and "Brouwerij 't IJ", in my opinion the best brewery of our country.

I have made pictures of the DW-5600CF-2JF of the G-Python series and of course added a page with it on the website.

------------------------------

Wednesday, October 20th 2004

Today I heard a girl say that she liked G-Shock, but they are made for men. When I asked her what she meant, she said that her wrists were too small for a G-Shock. She showed me her wrists, and I said they were small, but good enough for a G-Shock. I told her to come with me and she fitted my double Velcro DW-069. Of course I had my camera with me. Take a look and judge for yourself on the new G-People page of Maria.

Today also a DW-6800 arrived. It has E.L. backlight and was released in 1995, so it's on the borderline of vintage watches. I'm not sure in which category I shall place it, because I think this model wasn't produced for a long period and has a very vintage design. There's still a lot to do in G-Peopleland because yesterday also a blue camouflage DW-5600E from the G-Python series arrived. When I told the seller (Elliot, from Kyoto) that the package had arrived, I gave him also my regards from a very wet Netherlands. He assured me that it couldn't be worse than the cyclone that's raging over Japan again.  The watch is very great, although it colors were a little bit different then I expected it to be. I think Chelsey should like it, because it has about the same colors as her Baby-G. I do not have much time the coming days, but I shall try to take some pictures...

I got a funny mail about the picture of my Customized Wide Cuff DW-069 on my welcomepage. Finally someone, besides me, likes it. I like to change my welcoming page, does anyone have a nice idea for a picture?

Ok, I'm off to bed now. I had another busy day. Cheers!

------------------------------

Monday, October 18th 2004

Well, not much G-Shocking news, although.... This morning I saw Margot studying in the Library. She wasn't wearing her white Baby-G as usual, but another watch. I couldn't resist to make a comment on that. She told me that she had had the watch for her birthday, but she hadn't worn it until today. She felt a bit sorry for her parents if she never should wear the watch..."but between you and me, the Baby-G is much more comfortable". Curious? Here's a picture of her this morning...

II won several small auctions. Another Maroon/black DW-003 with double Velcro watchband, two DW-6800's and a DW-6000. These last two are new for me. I have not had contact for all of them, but I hope that I shall get all of them. It's been a busy day at my work, started 8.15 came home 19.45, so I'm very tired now. TTFN

------------------------------

Wednesday, October 13th 2004

I made some pictures of my MR-G 121 and made a page of it. It's been on my wrist all day and I it feels very comfortable.

------------------------------

Tuesday, October 12th 2004

Today a maroon G-Lide and a MR-G 121 arrived. The G-Lide is just to keep one mint, since I already have one, that I often wear lately. The MR-G is great. I only needed a small adjustment to get it fit to my wrist. It only has analog timekeeping and it has not even a date function. A nice surprise is that it has full illumination. Remarkable is also the crown on the left side. I have no idea why that is, but I assume to avoid injury on your hand while bending your wrist in a almost impossible position.  Some little scratches on the case tells this watch has been worn some times, but it still looks good. New price was about €350,-, I bought it for less than one tenth.

A few weeks ago I bought a DW-6630 for my friend Marleen.  The paint on the Protector was almost all gone, so I have repainted it. It looks very cool now. Tonight she's coming to collect it. With some luck I can take some pictures of her with it....

Saturday I received a Maroon/black DW-003 with double Velcro watchband (a different version than the G-Lide mentioned above). It was dead when it arrived. I'm short in money at the moment, so I decided to change the battery myself. When opening the back I noticed the alarm spring was gone. Monday at school I decided to make a new spring of 0,25 mm Ø constantan wire. After about 15 minutes of trying and with about 2 failures, I finally got a spring. I made a few adjustments and guess what, the watch beeped like it was brand new. When I got some spare time I shall make a page of it, because I have made a lot of pictures of the different stages of producing this spring.

Today I finished Leela's G-pages. If you click on her you find a second page, while she's wearing my maroon G-Lide. She said she finds the watchband very comfortable, so maybe in the future we'll see her walking around with a Double Velcro G-Shock!!!

Thursday, October 7th 2004

I have added a page of the DW-6400 in the vintage section. Took me a lot of time to get  nice light bulb shot, because the light doesn't give after 10 years not so much light any more.

I made very great pictures of Leela today. Although I always thought she would be the perfect person for a nice big G-Shock. She always told to me she didn't like those big watches I'm wearing, until today. She was amazed of the color of my Gold Defender Frogman. She wanted to study it during the lessons, but I didn't allow that. It's a  rare piece and I needed the timer also, so she proposed to take new pictures of her. She's now having an unique second section of her own now. I think these pictures are one of the best G-People entries. I didn't have time to finish the pages, so I have left some teasing pics on her first G-Page.

Enjoy

Tuesday, October 5th 2004

Okay, I've got to rush... I have the monthly Beer Tasting Evening tonight, but I would like to announce the joyful fact that today my 200th G-Shock arrived. It's a DW-6400 with the vintage 901 module.

Today Jolien came by to get her DW-003TL. Maybe I can make some pictures of her in the next few days.

Like I said I'm in a hurry,  Bye!!!

Monday, October 4th 2004

I received a mail today that my money for the MRG-121 has arrived and that the watch is going my way. With some luck I receive it at the end of the week.

I got mail from G-Forum member Shocker with new disturbing pictures of two fake Frogman's, he found on eBay. I have contacted eBay to report this fraudulent business in the hope to stop these Fake models. When you look in the main menu on the left of my pages, you'll notice there is a new section, to warn people who are not so good acquainted  with G-Shock models for these models. Many thanks to Shocker, who encouraged me to make such a section.

Yesterday I participated a regional beer tasting contest. I was one of 19 contestants. A lot of were people known about their beer knowledge. We all tasted 10 beers and we had to choose from a list of 40 beers. The winner found 5  of the 10 beers. The winner of last year found also 5 right, but lost in the Shoot out. I ended 3rd. I had 4 beers right. The fact that I didn't give me much change against all this knowledge made me a very happy man. Only a little bit to much "Gouden Carolus" at the end. I wasn't too fit this morning, but I'm still alive.....

Saturday, October 2nd 2004

Lot of new pictures on the website. I refreshed most pictures on the pages of my First and Second G-Shock and I added a  few pictures on the  pages of the Codename Aurele. I saw I forgot to take EL pictures, so probably I'll take them tonight and add them later.

Today I got the DW-003TL for Jolien. I promised to look out for one for about a year, and finally I found one. The watchband was a bit dirty, but a quick was made it very acceptable. I bought a new watchband for it by Fraidy from Watch your budget, Brooklyn, NYC.

I also received my second Gold Defender Frogman. I noticed that this one has the URL of the Japanese G-Shock website printed on the watchband. The serial number is also very different from my first one. The differences are shown on a page behind the Gold Defender Frog opening page.

The Red DW-003 has it's place between the basic models. Although I got the wrong model, so I didn't order it, it doesn't look bad, but it's very red!

------------------------------

Friday, October 1st 2004

I received a bright red DW-003 with resin band today. Looks nice, but wasn't what I ordered. I got a deal with the seller, since I want a second red  DW-003 G-Lide. I bought one again, and I think now I'll get the right one. I shall take some pics of the DW-003 soon for the Basic section.

This evening I found a ten year old DW-6400, placed a bid an won the Auction. The seller seems to be a great guy from Berlin, so I have good hope for a fast transaction. The DW-6400 is released January 1994, and can be considered a Vintage G. It even lacks the EL Backlight, but it is BIG.

As a gadget and Tool freak, I also bought a Leatherman PST II. I tried to open a big wooden crate with the file of my last one, and when I jumped several times on my tool(!) the file broke off (not a big surprise, since files are not crowbars) . I also own a Wave.

Thursday, September 30th 2004

Today it's Chelsey's birthday. Congratulations little Niece! I hope you like your new Baby-G. Now never come late in your classes!

What do you think of this picture?

It's one of my students. She needed a second stopwatch for an experiment, so I gave her my red DW-003 G-Lide. Looks cute, isn't it? Maybe she likes to pose in the G-People section....

Today I made a lot of pictures of my AW-560, that yesterday arrived. Check them out.

I also had contact with the seller of the MRG-121. I already have sent out the money.

------------------------------

Wednesday, September 29th 2004

Still no contact with the seller of the MRG-121. I hope he isn't a fake seller or something. argggh!

I won an auction of a nice Bordeaux Red G-Shock with double Velcro watchband with a  protector. This seller reacted very quickly to my message, so I have a very good feeling about that one.

Today the AW-560 arrived. It's a nice analog G, but has no backlight. In stead of that it has a extreme radiating dial. When I opened the envelope I had saw the dial light up at daylight. I hope it's not radioactive...

I have boroughed  the DVD of MI:2 of my friend Bleephead. Finally I have screenshots of the customized DW-6900 Tom Cruise is wearing during the movie.

Coming back on the Barbapapa shirt I showed September 19th. I just bought 3 of a series of 4 Barbapapa DVD's. Check out this screenshot.....

In our country he's called Barbabob, and I think he is the cutest of them all.. I think the Barbapapa's are also Shock Proof!!!

The Light, The Light, The Light...

On my back is a CD spinning with the best 12" of Dave Clarke... For me his Aphrohead (a.k.a. Felix da Housecat)  RMX of  "In the dark we live" is still one of the best records in Techno history. I still remember the illegal underground SM basement party in Utrecht where I heard this record for the first time, dancing between chains and leather ornaments, not so early any more in the morning. I can't wait until November 13th. But enough about  music...

Yesterday I won an auction of a Bordeaux Red DW-003 G-Lide with double Velcro band, like my second G-Shock. I wanted to have one to keep good so I can wear the other one more often.

This evening I hope to have the best catch this year. There was a G-Shock on auction, which appeared to be a analoge MR-G-121. I won the auction for €10,50. The new price of this monster was about €350,- four years ago!!!

The Light, The Light, The Light!

------------------------------

Friday , September 24th 2004

Today I have put the four models on-line that arrived recently. I bought the G-3011 just to have a recent basic model. I first placed the bid, then saw it was blue. It's not a big deal. I got two model trucks, which are now toys for Bram.

I recently bought two G-2300B's. These are like the normal G-2300, but with a cloth band. It has watchband adaptors, so the watch can migrate over the writs for more comfort during sporting activities. This watch would have been a good model for the G-Lide series, but is released as a basic model.

The third model is a Beige Triple Eyed devil. I found this model in Austria. It looks great. I had seen this model a few years ago in The Hague, when I was in an expensive department store. It was between festivities of the marriage of my sister in law two years ago. Finally I have it.

Last, but not least, is my beautiful Red G-5600LL of the L.X series. I bought it at Higuchi-Inc in Tokyo. It was very pleasant to deal with them and like Seiya, you get your watch across the world within a few days. These two sellers are very recommendable.

It looks like just adding 4 pages, but it took me a very long time to get it all o line the way I had in mind. I've been editing for more than 6 hours, so I hope you like it. There will be not many new models be added on the website for a while. I like put away money for the GW-1210, which is a very expensive model. I'm expecting three G-Shock's.

The first one is a black DW-003TL, which I found for Jolien. I'm not sure if it's a normal or a reversed display, but she was very happy when she heard I finally found one.

The second one is probably a AW-560. It's an black analogue G-Shock with a white dial. The last one is a hardly used Frogman Gold Defender.

Well, I'm off now. I can't keep my eyes open much longer. It's a long list of links, so, take your time to view and most of all, have G-Fun!

------------------------------

Thursday , September 23rd 2004

I took a lot of pictures today. At first of my "Barcode" watch, by Tokyo Time Evolution. I'm still thinking of where to give this watch a place on my site, since it's not a G-Shock.

I also took pictures of my recently acquired G-Shock's: A red DW-8500 Codename, a beige DW-069 (Triple Eyed Devil), a red G-5600LL of the LX series, a blue/yellow basic G-3011 and a G-2300B. You see, I have a lot of work to do. I have put the first on-line. It's the Beautiful DW-8500 Codename I recently bought from J.C. The original black DW-8500 is very hard to find, I have never seen this red version before. A nice thing is that this watch is also Mudresist. The other models will appear on this website soon.

I took a picture of Noor last Monday, but unfortunately her face is not shown, only her Baby-G. I don't see her much around, so it could take a while before I can shoot her again.

Today a yellow DW-6600 arrived. It's for Marleen, an old school friend. Also a second Binary Watch arrived for a Computer Science teacher of my school.

------------------------------

Monday , September 20th 2004

My little niece Chelsey has sent pictures of her and her new Baby-G, so I have put them on-line already.

Today I received a red version of the DW-8500 Codename. It's in a Mudman like case, so it looks like one but without the triple eyes. Also got a basic blue and yellow G-3011 from Germany..

The Barcode watch did also arrive. It's very great looking. Very funny are the lights that flashes every minute in a random pattern. It has a bit "Starwars" look, like it's going to beep or talk to me any minute... Unfortunately I can't remove links from it's stainless steel watchband, so I have to go to a watchmaker to remove two links.

My Barcode watch did also arrive. Bad tax day for me at the door. The red Codename had a Tax bill of €20,45 and the Barcode watch, that also arrived was accompanied with a €37,45 bill.

Sanne's younger sister Noor had one of her first practical lessons on my lab today. I sneaky took a picture of her wearing her blue I.C.E.R.C. Baby-G. First she was a bit upset of taking the picture, but when I said it was for the website she said that it was O.K. with a bright smile. I have no time now to put it on line at the moment, but it will appear on the website before the end of the week.

Tomorrow I'm working in our residential Theater as a Light Assistant right after work, so I have not much time for other things.

Sunday , September 19th 2004

I celebrated my birthday yesterday, and I'm still under the influence of a "couple of" good new and vintage beers. When I came down early this morning for a drink (all those beers makes you thirsty) I found an e-mail with a great offer for a slightly used Gold Defender Frogman. I decided to take the chance, so within a few days I'll be trying to wear this gold monster. I'm curious how it looks on me, because I never wear golden things actually.

There will be arriving other G-Shock's too within a few days. I got a letter that one package was delivered when no one was at home and another letter that the customs had added Tax on a package which was due to arrive.

My Stainless Steel Barcode watch is also on it's way, so it's going to be a surprise week with a lot of new watches.

My little niece Chelsey got her Baby-G from her parents yesterday. She was very pleased with it. I thought she would get it for her birthday, so I programmed her birthday in 2005 in the "Daycounter" mode. She's going to secondary education this year, so she needs a watch to keep up with the time table. I think she soon appears in the G-People section. Her Baby-G was already a few weeks on-line, but I kept it quiet, so she didn't find out. It's a marine camouflage version. When I took the close-up photo's I discovered that even the dial has a camouflage pattern.

For Techno fanatics: Check out the I Love Techno website. It's November the 13th this year. Just check out the line-up. Dave Clarke (Live), Mylo, Felix da Housecat, Alter Ego (live), Miss Kittin, Richie Hawtin and many more! Spread the word. Machines need Love too!!!!!  I'm going to get my tickets soon!

UPDATE:

I have my Ticket already!

Thursday , September 16th 2004

Today it's my Birthday. I also collected a Grey G-Shock of the X-Treme series. Like the other one I received a few days ago, the battery is dead, so I have to get them revived one of these days.

I also started to set all my G-Shock's the right time. I got a Weather Station with an Atomic Clock for my Birthday from my Girlfriend Eva, so that made it easier to do. I also have my GW-300 to help of course. I started yesterday and I think I'll be finished Friday.

Mr. Higuchi San didn't have the black G-5600LL, so I ordered a red version. Maybe I'm going to wear that one...

Cheers!!!

------------------------------

Wednesday, September 15th 2004

Yesterday both my G-5600L's of the L.X series arrived. They were both cleared without tax by the Dutch Customs (pfff!). Both sellers also packed some G-Shock folders with the watches, so I'm up to date now. Today I took some pictures, which are now on-line.  I also ordered a G-5600LL at Higuchi Inc. I have heard great stories about his service, so I hope it all is true. I guess it's about as good as the service of Mr. Seiya San.

I got a notice that the postman tried to deliver a package with a grey X-Treme from Vienna. Tomorrow I hope to collect it at the post office.

Yesterday I ordered a stainless steel Barcode watch, designed by Tokyo Time Evolution. It's a great Binary watch with a great design. It's only available outside Japan via Tokyoflash Corp.

Busy days at my school these days, but I saw a very funny shirt today. I asked the little girl  wearing it if I could take a picture of her. Her parents bought it for her in France. I was a great fan of the Barbapappa television show back in the 70's. I wish I had this shirt in XL. Check out this Tee!

------------------------------

Monday, September 13th 2004

After our summer holidays my colleague Richel returned on our school with a huge, all titanium Seapathfinder. He had bought it on his vacation in Greece.  Check out the first pics.

I found also some recent nice pictures of my son Bram. He has a very special hairdo (he wants to have about the same hair as his dad, only in purple). You'll find it on his 10th (!) page.

No G's arrived yet. Even the seller of the first L.X I bought was curious if it already had arrived. Sorry, I wished it was, can't wait to see it in real. The second L.X is in the Netherlands, but hasn't past the customs yet.

I won an auction of an AW-560. It's an old analog/digital model. It has a black case, a white dial and green lettering. It's visible been  used well, but even an abused G-Shock has it's glance. It's were they are designed for in the first place.

I have seen the new European models on the new improved European G-Shock website. Check out the new GW-1210. There is a fire engine red version that is sooooo beautiful.... I've seen the first one for sale. It was €229,- , so I have to save a lot of money to get one, but I think it's worth it.

------------------------------

Friday, September 10th 2004

I whish there was some good G-Arrival news, but only one little blue Baby-G arrived this week. The L.X from Seiya was returned to Tokyo when they found out the address was not corresponding with the Postal Code. I tried to stop it's return, but I was already too late. Fortunately the good Mr. Seiya San has sent me already a new one, while he is still waiting for his to return. The funny part was he gave me the wrong new tracking number, so I thought my new L.X was going straight to San Francisco... If I'm right there are still 8 G-Shock's on the way to my house, so I hope this will become a G-Week for me here. I hope they all get here before my birthday next Thursday.

I bought a red Mud Resist Codename from a G-Forum member. He had it for sale just before I went on vacation, but it wasn't sold. So I hope to be the new proud owner of this rare watch.

I got a pleasant surprise at the end of the afternoon today. While I was finishing my work at the lag I heard a "hello!" behind my back. Sanne popped in for a chat. I haven't seen her since about June, so it was a very nice surprise. I took her into town and treated her on a yoghurt ice. Noticing her elegant Fossil watch, I was curious if she still wore here Baby-G's. She reassured me she wears them a lot. She recently had found her red BGX-200 back. She couldn't find it for a long time (well, not a big surprise when you have seen her room), but she found it at the head end of her bed. She had wore it a lot during her work as a beach lifeguard. It sure should have looked good on her. Sunday (if she doesn't forget or had made a double or triple appointment) we'll go for a drive to Belgium to buy some beer for my birthday next week.

------------------------------

Sunday, September 5th 2004

The last week of my summer holidays has past, tomorrow I start working. A lot of students in my G-People section will start another study on another school or university, probably far from Middelburg. Dena, Yara, Marion Joost, Therese and of course my favorite Mirte are going their own way, but a new bunch of students are coming up. Maybe some new G-People included...

I splitted the news section up again. The frame was over 1,5Mb, and was loaded every time someone looked at this page. With over 800 visits a month this means that more than 1,2 Gb bandwidth was used, only to view the news page, and since I pay this bandwidth out of my own pocket... Well, I ordered 4 Gb last week, not much, but I'm a bit out of cash, but I hope it will hold up until the end of October.

I ordered a blue/green camouflage BG-167 for my niece Chelsey her 12th birthday on September the 30th. I noticed that she often likes to wear camouflage clothing, so this model seemed to be right for her. Only 25 days to go.

I also splitted up my Guestbook. Since my Guestbook is hosted at my internet provider, there is no (paid) bandwidth problem, but the page was that big, that it became a problem to load the page properly. Did you, by the way, already sign my Guestbook yet?

If I'm right there are a few G-Shock's on their way. Two G-5600L's from Japan and a G-2300.  I have the tracking number of one of the G-5600L's. This one is already past the Customs. I expect it to arrive tomorrow or Tuesday. The other one is shipped with the U.S. Army Post first to Hawaii or New York. from there it will be shipped to the Netherlands, so this package will take a bit longer than usual to get here.

I won a  off white DW-6900 with double Velcro watchband with probably a 1449 module (not a Triple Eyed Devil). It's of the X-Treme series, the Japanese equivalent of the G-Lide series.

I have added a DW-6600 page and a DW-6630B page in the Basic Models section. I have only yellow DW-6630's, but I'm trying to get a purple version too, but I have only lost those auctions. Maybe more luck next time.

------------------------------

Monday, August 30th 2004

My final week of my 8 week holiday has begun. The weather is terrible, never has been so much rain recorded as this summer, the Olympic Games are over, I have placed a new roof on my shed, so it's time for a change. I can't wait to see my lab and get things started for a new school year.

Today I met Mirte on the MSN. She had just returned from her first week Amsterdam, where she lives and study now. She came by for dinner and collected her customized G-Shock, which still was here.

Of course we made some photo's with her new toy.  She was very happy to see it in person, because I had the watch ready for her before I went on vacation at the end of July.

I asked her to pose also with my BGX-170 in the Studio. I threw my ultra rareTB-303 in her arms, and she posed with it if like she's programmed it for ages....

Today also my Binary watch arrived. It's a great looking watch. You have to get used to binary counting, but it's easier than it seems. Check out, here it's 12:30:

O.K., it's not a G-Shock, but it's a very cool gadget. I ordered a second G-5600L at Seiya in Tokyo. I hope he manage to post it soon, because I heard there is a Typhoon raging over the south of Japan.

------------------------------

Sunday, August 29th 2004

I bought another G-2300b today. It's my second (I forgot I already got one). It reminded me also I had to place it somewhere on my website, since the G-2300 series is a good watch, but so basic, that it doesn't belong to any series. It's probably the best equipped basic model around. It has a telememo, worldtime and a timer on board, a combination as far as I know only found on this model. I have placed my recently made basic models section into the main menu. I'm planning to put my DW-6600's also on this page, since this model is about the most popular one in the U.S. Army, policemen, firemen etc.

------------------------------

Friday, August 27th 2004

I ordered a Binary watch yesterday at Watch-U-Seek. O.K., it's not a G-Shock, but it's timekeeping with LED's is very remarkable.

I added two Baby-G's in the new Baby-G section. One of them is Eva's BG-156b, also known as the Amy Amber. She has this watch for over 2  years, I bought it for her Birthday.

The other one is a BGX-170 of the G-Lide series, which I got recently. I like the orange trim on the black watchband.

------------------------------

Thursday, August 26th 2004

I won an auction of a G-5600L of the L.X series. I have already had contact with the seller before the auction was closed, so I have good feelings that this transaction will be going fast.

I also got a Backstreet Boys G-Shock model today. It's my second. This one looks like it's only worn a few times. I still don't know the story behind this G-Shock. It's the third I have seen ever and two of those are mine now. They seem only been available for Germany once. Maybe they were a price or so...

------------------------------

Wednesday, August 25th 2004

I have rearranged my "Special Series" section. I decided to delete the "Beauties" section, because most of them were Baby-G's. I changed the name in "Baby-G" section and the G-Shock's that were in the "Beauties" section were moved into the "Special Series" section.  That's why you find the DPolG, FIFA Worldcup France98 and the G-Fire on this page. Some other Baby-G's will be added later.

I also made a page for my recently acquired Yellow AW-510. I had made the photo's a week before I went on vacation, but I did not know in what category I must place this watch in. Although it has great looks, it doesn't appear to be a special series. I decided to make up a section within the "Special Series" called "Basic Models".  Here I can put some G-Shock's that cannot be put into another series. I also put my first G-Shock,  a Maroon DW-004 in this section. You could only find it if you found my second welcome page, but now it has it's place in this section. Maybe I will add some more models, like the yellow DW-6600's I have for example.

I'm also working on a second model of the L.X series. It's the G-5600L, the version with a reversed display. I think a Tough Solar G-Shock with a reversed display has good looks. I hope to announce more details later, when I know more about this transaction.

------------------------------

Monday, August 23rd 2004

I bought a Baby-G for my niece Chelsey today. She had seen the Baby-G of my sister Mea lately and she wanted one for her Birthday, the last day of September. It is a blue camouflage version. I also bought an other Baby-G for my own collection from the same seller.

------------------------------

Saturday, August 21st 2004

I have made a lot of pictures of my new Fisherman. They are on line now. If you take close attention you will see I forgot to adjust the watch before taking pictures. It's something I will do now.

I also got two leather Cuff Watchbands. Maybe I'm going to use one to customize a DW-5600E.

------------------------------

Friday, August 20th 2004

This morning my neighbour came by to deliver a package, he had accepted for me yesterday. I was very surprised this was a package from Canada. It was my lost package holding the Fisherman, that I won on eBay 15th of June. It had been delayed twice! It took more the 40 days to reach the Dutch customs, but even more surprisingly, it also took more then 20 days to get through the customs. Finally after being on it's way for 64 days (!) it's here. I didn't have time to take pictures of it, but I promise that it will appear on this page soon.

An other surprise (for me) was that I had forgotten about my Ed Templeton G-Shock of the 21st Century Boys Series. I was looking for pics on my site, when I saw I forgot to make a page for it. I think it's an advantage that I forgot it. I now have made a beautiful background of this page.

I also got a post of Shocker on the G-Forum with a Fake G-2000 guide. He also e-mailed me a bigger version with the request to place it on my site. Well Shocker, here it is. It's placed in my "Where to Buy" section under the Fake Warning. Here you can be directed to a page with fake G-2000 or to Shocker's Fake Guide. So, I'm going to watch the Olympic games again. See you next time

------------------------------

Saturday, August 14th 2004

I have worked on a few pages for customized G-Shock's. I customized a G-Lide before I went on vacation, but forgot where I had put it apart when I came back. Fortunately I found the watch yesterday, so I had taken some pictures of it. It is a little present for Mirte.

In fact it's already some days on line, but there is also a new page of my Customized Wide Cuff DW-069. A lot of people notice the watch, everywhere I come, in shops, on the streets. It's a great gadget.

------------------------------

Wednesday, August 12th 2004

Returned from vacation last Saturday, finding my own country in a so called heat wave. While I measured 31ºC on 8.30 a.m. in France, during breakfast, here the temperature sticked to the same temperature at the hottest part of the day (somewhere around 2.00 p.m.). Nevertheless a good reason to spent a lot of time outdoor, so not much time to edit my website.

When I arrived back home I found an envelope with two wristbands. One of those wrist bands was also useful as a watchband. I was wearing a DW-069 when I drove home from he Bourgogne and it looked the right watch to customize into a version like the L.X Series G-5600LL-1JF. I have not made pictures of it yet, but when it gets a bit colder here, I shall do my best.

Tonight I won a second BSB G-Shock auction. Not that I like the Backstreet Boys... I'm not sure what's the story behind this version, but it's the third I've seen in the past years... Again I won it for a fraction of it's worth (with a normal watchband).

Tomorrow I have a date with Mirte. She has a job now, to earn money for her room near Amsterdam, but I managed to get a little hole in her tight schedule. I have a customized G for her, made out of an white/blue Italian DW-004 and a Stage Tomato.

Today  Bram celebrates his fourth birthday.  He got a lot of presents, and what is a Birthday without a big cake.

There was also a nice surprise for me. A package from Switzerland arrived, containing a yellow AW-510. It seems this watch was never worn, so this was an extra surprise. It has awesome looks, but first I must revive it with a fresh battery.

Yesterday also the Ed Templeton G-Shock arrived from the 21CB series. It's the version, marked with "Total Destruction" and has a giant bird head in the EL display. Because of Birthday duties I didn't have time to make pictures, but I shall try to make up new pages of the AW-510 and the Ed Templeton G-Shock before I leave to France, Thursday next week.

I also bought a Baby-G. It's a version Mirte liked very much. It was gone for a long time on eBay, but I found one at an other seller. I hope to get it before I go on vacation.

I had a very interesting conversation with Karen on MSN about doing strange things with sheep.... Well, I like sheep.  I'm a big Wallace and Gromit fan, and in "A Close Shave" you can see lots of them, doing things you can't imagine a sheep can do,  but we're getting off topic now....

Yesterday I have made a lot of pictures of my Mad Dog Expeditions Frogman. For the first time I have used the Digital Zoom on my Canon Powershot G5. The results were amazing on the original EL photo's. I have changed my Masters of G page in the Frogman section, because I now have so many models that I needed a Frogman main page.

I also made a page of Paul D's G-611. It appeared to be this one was of the Fire Package series. In fact this model was released as a normal model in Europe. In Germany this model is known as "Marine Master". I have contacted Paul D. that his watch has arrived. I think he will collect his new gain today.

I also got a short e-mail of the seller of a 21CB watch. He said he got his money order and the watch is coming my way. I'm curious which 21CB model this is, although I know it's a version I do not have in my collection yet.

I won an auction of a "Mad Dog" DW-9900 Frogman. Finally I have a DW-9900, and it's a beauty. Mad Dog Expeditions is an organization that organizes and accompanies  extreme diving holidays and expeditions like wreck diving with Nitrox, Trimix and Heliox at a depth of almost 900ft and polar diving expeditions.  Casio sponsored Mad Dog Expeditions between 1999 and 2000 with the release of this Frogman and a Sea Pathfinder model.

I also bought a G-611 for my Colleague Paul D. It was packed together and sent to me last Wednesday from Japan. It took only three days to arrive. Yesterday evening my neighbour, came by waving with a packet. I wasn't at home at the time the parcel service came by, but they delivered it by my neighbour, because he is a postman. The watches were great, and this was the first time I didn't have to pay tax for the watches.

Thursday a Men In Yellow Riseman arrived. It was in a very good condition but with a dead battery. It didn't have the original Japanese box, but was packed in a hexagonal G-Shock Container. It has been changed by my Casio Service Centre, and now I'm wearing it proudly on my wrist.  I already have made pictures of the G-611, because I also let Paul D. know that his watch arrived.

I made a special customized blue/white G-Shock with a negative display. The original case of the watch had a deep scratch in the crystal, so I decided to switch the bezel, watchband adaptors and the double Velcro watchband with a "Stage Tomato" model. I forgot to change the light button too, but maybe I let it that way. I specially designed it for Mirte, because she likes white and blue Double Velcro G-Shock's. Unfortunately she's in Sweden right now for a few weeks, and when she's back I will be in Bourgogne. I hope I can reach her before she moves to Amsterdam.

It's been a while since I bought those fake G-2000FL's.  I secretly tried to forget them, but a G-Forum member, Shocker, remembered me on this topic. I have added a second G-Fake warning page in the Where to Buy section. Shocker collected the pics for me from eBay. I hope it will prevent some people of buying them.

I got some great photo's of EL-backlights of the collection of Brad Bertrand. I have added them on my EL-Gallery. Working on that page I found out I didn't link to my own Terje Haakonsen Riseman. It now is linked to my Riseman page.

I have added more info about me on the Profile page. It  was so much info that I needed a second page. Also added a page showing how I live here, on a former Island, in the south west part of the Netherlands.

What do think of my new hairdo. Special designed for my red I.C.E.R.C. Frogman. The photo was taken yesterday by my friend Bleephead while we were driving around a bit. Although the weather forecast wasn't very good, we had a splendid sunny day.

I received a blue/whiteDW-003 G-Lide this week. It was obviously used and has a scratch on the display. I don't think I get rid of that nasty scratch, but I can wash the watchband.

I won several nice auctions. First I won a AW-510. It is black and has a yellow display. I don't know it's condition, but it's a rare watch. Another watch I won is a G-Shock of the 21CB series. I still don't know who was the designer, but I will come back on that when I receive it.

I also bought a DW-9900 Frogman. It's a special edition made for Mad Dogs Expeditions. I also won an auction for my colleague Paul. It's a Cockpit model with a resin band and a metallic blue dial. Because I can't pay all these watches at once the seller agreed with me that I can pay them at the end of the month.

I also rearranged some pages. I still had the red DW-5600E page linked to the movie "Speed", while the DW-5600C was only linked to the vintage section. The red one has moved to the "Classics" series and the DW-5600C is now also linked to the movie section. Both pages are updated and I have added more new and better photo's.

I have also rearranged my Hooks Up page and added some new pics.

Today I got a great G-Shock shirt from Andy Ishii. His wife almost turned it into a cleaning cloth. It has a great looking artwork on the back, designed by surfer/snowboarder and artist Caia Koopmans.

I recently bought the DVD "The Italian Job". I added a page with the diving scene in the beginning of the movie. It shows a giant DW-6600 in the Timer mode.

I did it again. I won a German auction of a Riseman. As far as I could see it was the M.I.Y. Riseman. It was a cliffhanger, because there were two other people bidding against me and I can tell you, it was not a cheap buy, but I would like to have one to wear. I hope it's worth the money. Still no trace of my I.C.E.R.C. Fisherman by the way.
