Four days of visiting family and a lot of food seemed never to end. I gained more than 3 kilos in one week. I hope there will be some good cycling weather in the beginning of next year, because I am going to need it! I bought the new camera yesterday. A Canon G5, which I hope is a lot better then the Minolta 2330 Zoom I used for making pictures for this site.
We had a family brunch today. Unfortunately my oldest sister Mea, her husband and 2 of her 3 kids suffered from the flu. So I didn't see the Wademan yet on John's wrist, so that has to wait... Finally I was able to shoot some pictures of my older brother Paul. Owning three G-Shock's he deserves a nice spot among the other G-People. He also took a photo of me eating my dessert. I was wearing my DW-069 G-Fire at that time. Click on the picture if you want to have a better view.
Yesterday I went shopping with my youngest sister Thea. I also took a nice picture of her in a bar and another one at my parents home.

Win some, loose some. On Christmas Eve I lost an auction of a very rare black Tough Solar Gulfman. It was the first time I saw one for sale, so it could have been my last chance to get one.

On the other hand I won an auction of a limited edition red Tough Solar Camouflage G-2300M-4DR. If I got that one, I have one to save and one to wear. That makes two red G-Shock's on my way at the moment.
I guess I stop buying G's for a while. I want to buy a new Digital camera, a Canon G-5, so I can make some better photo's, then I do now. My Minolta 2330 Zoom has a very good Close-up, but it needs a lot of light to focus, and the photo's are most of the time very dark. I paid three years ago the same price for this camera as a new G-5 costs now. The G-5 is considered the best professional camera for affordable price.
I had a nice conversation with Michael of MSG-Distributors. His business is running slow at the moment, so he is considering to stop. I hope he chooses to go on, since he is one of the best places to get rare and limited models.
Anyone seen Interstella 5555, the 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem? Check out this link. the 5555 figures will be available in a limited edition of, what else, 5555 pieces! Check-out this fantastic Manga Musical, or as my son Bram calls it "The Thrilling Aeroplanes", with Daft Punk's album "Discovery" as soundtrack.

December 23rd, 2003
It's a good day to work on my website. The days are short, and during daylight, storm and rain rules. In other words a good day to stay home, light a fire and cherish my new G-Shocks.
I spend a lot of hours to complete the three new web pages, but I have finally finished them. The first G-Shock Featured is the DW-5600EB. This is a slightly different version of the DW-5600E. This one has two watchband adaptors. The rubber/resin band is pulled through those adaptors, allowing the case to migrate on your wrist to get the most comfortable fit.
The second G-Shock featured is the DW-9550HB-4T of the Tough Label Series. It was released in July 1998. This is an "European only" release, the Japanese versions were the G-Mix series . It has a very special watchband, with an extra safe closure. I haven't seen them much around.
Last but not least is my newest gadget, the awesome DW-6700 Skyforce Alti-Thermometer. With it's 54 x 54 X 18 mm dimensions, one of the biggest G-Shock's I have ever seen. It was released in September 1994, and although it doesn't match the 10 years old criteria, I still consider this G-Shock very vintage. In fact it's the predecessor of the DW-9100 Riseman, which has about the same functions. It looks big, but it wears surprisingly comfortable.
Yesterday night I bought myself a second red I.C.E.R.C. Frogman GW-203K-4. I like this watch so much, that I want one to wear, and one to collect. I bought it at JJ's Watches, where I had bought a black Baby-G File n Days for Sanne about two months ago ("hey Sjors, if I use the light, a dancing guy falls on his face").
I'm not sure I will write another news topic before Christmas, so I wish all you who read this a very warm and happy Christmas with your family or who ever your spending the holidays with.
I am going to drink a Gouden Carolus Christmas, Cheers,
Sjors

About a week ago I preformed a Drop Test with a G-Shock in my school. My girl next door, Jolien, who's always friendly, helped me perform the test. The Photo's are a bit vague due to the dim light circumstances. Watch how the first test failed. Shall the G survive?
------------------------------
December 20th, 2003
I'm getting a bit behind by adding my new watches on the site. It's a bit dark outside, so I have trouble making good pictures. I received a vintage DW-6700. I think it is with a case of 54 x 54 X 18 mm, the biggest G-Shock I have. Only my DW-8300 could beat this monster's size. The DW-6700 has an altimeter, barometer and a thermometer on board. In Japan it was nicknamed "Skyforce". It was originally released September 1994. This one is in a very good condition and probably never worn.
Yesterday I tested my Frogman by making an Irish Stout Christmas cake with Sanne. It had to endure some severe vibration tests, because the dough was very thick. This morning the postman made me happy with a small package. No G-Shock this time, but the new ltd. ed. DVD Interstella 5555, a 5tory of a 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, with bonus CD. The Album "Discovery" by Daft Punk was used as soundtrack by this animated house musical by Leyi Matsumoto.
Anyone noticed yet? G-Peopleland had over 10.000 hits since it was launched at April 7th this year. I think it's not a bad score in 9 months!
I'm thinking of adding a recently preformed Drop Test to my G-Stories section. First I'm going into town, to get us some food for today (I'm thinking of making Nasi Goreng with fried eggs, hjam!) and let my son Bram run from shop to shop. He likes that a lot. Have a nice day!

December 16th, 2003
It's been a long time since I wrote in this news section. I had a pretty busy time, doing a lot of things. Friday (December 12th) I've been to Antwerp. First I watched the movie "The Italian Job". Not only because I thought it was a good movie, but also because I had heard the rumour that there was a scene with a G-Shock. Indeed, there was an underwater scene, where they used the timer function. The model was a DW-6600, the one I call my number 13 (see my G-Stories). Later on I drunk a delicious beer in an underground café and I visited Café d'Anvers. The DJ of that night was Sander Kleinenberg. I thought it was a Trance DJ (some kind of music special made for people who do not understand the house feeling), but he brought a nice blend of Latin, New York Soul and U.K. House. Specially the combination of the last two made his DJ Set rather interesting and full of soulful surprises.
Saturday I wad testing one of my Raysman during Biking with my new cycling shoes. It was a bit rainy and there was a storm going on, so the conditions were a bit rough. I have those special click pedals. At a certain point I wanted to stop, so I could drink. I unclicked one of my shoes and wanted to stand on it, but a sudden strong gust of wind blew me to the other side. There I lay on the ground. My bike half over me. The road was covered with mud, and my bike was still attached to my left shoe. I think I was lucky that I had that many layers of clothes on (it was only about 6º C, so I was wearing two extra shirts under my "Lotto" tricot).
Sunday was a family day. First my son got sick, but we decided to go shopping in Hulst, a small beautiful town, some 40 km from where I live and near the Belgium border. I also visited my good old friend DJ Evol. After that we went to a very nice Surinam Restaurant in Terneuzen. Not much G, but a very nice day.
I also wrote a special about changing batteries. Although I strongly recommend to let your G-Shock battery be replaced by your local Casio Dealer or Casio Jeweller. There are people who continue to ask how to change them, because they live far from civilization. Especially for those people I have written a topic about changing Batteries.
In the mean time I got three "new" G-Shock's. First I got a worn DW-9550. This is a special Tough Label version, made for Skiing and snowboarding. It has a very special watchband that can be used over your winter coat, so you can keep time while going down the ski runs. It also has a BPM-Counter, which may be a funny feature at the Après-ski.
The second G-Shock was a Raysman. My 4th black one. It seems that the rechargeable battery is dead, and won't charge. I must bring it to my regular Casio dealer to get it fixed. The watch itself is hardly used.
Today I got a new DW-5600E. It's a version with a red trim (I like red trims a lot!) and has a single band, that goes through adaptors that are also used for the double Velcro watchbands.
Well, I hope I have explained why I didn't write that much recently. New news will come, don't be afraid.
------------------------------
December 8th, 2003
In the beginning of September Glen Stine published a photo of a very special BPM G-Shock, dedicated for DJ's. It was a fun pic, but I had no place on my website to publish it yet. Now I have opened a new section, called G-Fun. In the past I found two very funny Shockwave movies, and I didn't want to loose the link. I have also added links to these very funny movies. I have found more of this maker, Bruno Bozzetto. Have Fun.
------------------------------
December 6th, 2003
Early this morning I received the new pictures of John posing with his Wademan. I have made a second page for him in his G-People page. Watch that smile. He must be one happy guy. Guess what's next, a MTG-520 Neon Illuminator????
Last night I won an auction of a DW-5600ED-1V. This one has a single band, but has the adaptors for a double Velcro watchband. It was an auction of eBlazeon, so that will be a good deal. I had won a similar auction two weeks ago, but I still haven't got that watch. It seems that it's gonna be my first miss in 285 eBay transactions.
I finally managed to make a page for my white Raysman. The Casio Watches and Services still haven't respond to my e-mails, and according to another member of the G-Forum, I think I will never get any either. I guess that I have to put a black Raysman watchband on it. Whatever. After spending a lot of the day behind my computer, it's time to go outside. I hope to see you soon in G-Peopleland.

December 5th, 2003
Today we celebrate "Sinterklaas" (Saint Nicolas). On this day, December 5th, the good Saint gives us presents. My Brother in law John got a Wademan, the watch he wanted so badly, but was almost impossible to find. Very enthusiastic he phoned me! I had some connections with "Sinterklaas" about a month ago, and was able to take some pictures of his present. John told me some features that even I not had found on this watch. It has world time and the mean temperatures of cities for every month. I shall soon dig into my manual, I was very surprised when he told me that.
I have taken some pictures of my new white Raysman. They will appear soon on this site. If you can't wait, go to my post on the Watch U Seek G-Forum for a preview.
Well, have a nice day, don't do anything that I wouldn't do, and if you do it, do it save..... (crossing the street, I mean).

December 4th, 2003
I have added the new Frogman page. Lot's of detailed photo's and as a bonus a funny picture of myself wearing this Frogman in a thorny situation :-)
Also added 2 new pictures of Sanne in the G-People section. She was helping other students with filtering fruit juices for wine experiments.
------------------------------
December 3rd, 2003
Busy days again. I received a Raysman watch yesterday. What I assumed to be a yellow Raysman, appeared to be a well used, but more rare White/Grey Raysman. Unfortunately the watchband is totally worn off. Luckily I found a source on the web that has the replacement Watchbands. It's Casio Watches and Services, an official Casio distributor, located in California. I hope I can get those watchbands real soon, because the watch itself is in a good condition.
Today My Frogman from Honk Kong also has arrived. It's a beauty, but this one is gonna be a wearer. I thought it was a black watch, but it has a dark Navy color. The battery was fully charged, so I could adjust it right away.
Today I also won another normal black Raysman auction. It was not sure this was a working one, but I paid a very low price for it. If it still works it's again a great bargain, if it is not working, I'm going to use it for the replacement parts. For example I can use the watchband on my new white/grey Raysman.
In November I placed a photo of Sanne on her pages she didn't like, although a lot of people agreed with me that she looked very good. I started a poll on the Watch U Seek G-Forum to vote her "Hot or Not!". She was definitely voted "Hot", so she finally agreed to put the picture back on line. She even wrote a message to thank all the people for the nice comments. Now we can all see her enchanting smile.
I hope you all have had a good G-Day too. I shall add my new gains on this website soon. Stay tuned for more....

December 1st, 2003
I'm still waiting on four G-Shock's. A black double Velcro should have arrived a few day's ago, but I'm still waiting. My Frogman was sent last Thursday, so it will take 4 to 10 days until it arrives. My third Yellow Raysman should go on the way right now, just like the orange BPM G-Shock with double Velcro Ski Watchband.
There I am a
very curious person I have added some extra "Nedstat" counters on strategic
pages. You will recognize them by the
logo. If you're
curious too, just click on the picture and you can see how many people have
visited that page.
I also added "JK Supplies" to the Internet Shops page. They sell special conversion kits to change G-Shock's with a resin band into one with a double Velcro band. I'm not sure if they ship outside the U.K., but you can only find out if you ask them.
Today I shot a very nice photo of Sanne, filtering pineapple jus for making wine, wearing here new Baby-G File 'n Days. Maybe I'll add that picture in the future on her pages. It was shot for educational purposes. Two other students are making 4 different wines, but they got help from some other students. Sanne was one of them.

November 29th, 2003
Hi there, how are you. Well, we're in a cheerful mood today. Yesterday our babysitter Sanne came by to put my son Bram in bed. We watched "Bruce Almighty". A very good comedy. A bottle of good wine and toasts with some good French cheeses did the rest. Today we are going to celebrate the birthday of Saint Nicolas. Normally it's celebrated on December the 5th, but my sister in law Laura goes back to Tanzania, where she lives, soon, so we celebrate it a week earlier. I have heard that Santa has a lot of Presents for Bram!
Bill Baker from the U.S. bought himself a beautiful Gold Defender Frogman. He published his photo's on the Watch U Seek G-Forum. He agreed to publish them also on G-Peopleland. I hope you like them. Thank you very much Bill!
Unexpected I won a auction of a Yellow DW-9350 Raysman two days ago. It was not in tip top shape, but I paid a low price for it. The band seems to show some heavy wear, but I can still use it for mountain biking and swimming.
So that's it for today. Hope you have a nice day too.
------------------------------
November 25th, 2003
Earlier than I expected, today I received my Men In Yellow Gaussman. It's a very yellow (!) monster, really eye catching. It's worn, but in very good shape. Now I've got three different Gaussman's.
Today I also won an auction of an Orange BPM G-Shock with double Velcro band. It's a version that is rarely seen on the internet, and personally I think this version has the nicest color. I've seen a blue version once at my local Casio Dealer, and a green version once in Brugge, Belgium. I don't know the model number, and of course also not the module number. Just wait and see.
Some side news. I also bought three records of Paul Johnson, in the hope to get his great track "Doo Doo Wop". Today I received the package, and guess what, the track is on it! It seems endless (8 maybe 10 minutes of soul/funk/house). I've been dancing along the house for hours singing Doooo Whop Dooo Whop Doo Doo Dooo Dooo Yeah! (Great lyrics written by an intellectual in the sixties, LOL).
Have a great day, I have had mine,
Sjors

November 24th, 2003
Today I added photo's of my Snow Back Pack of the G-Bag range. Not only a lot of photos with details, but also scans of the G-Bag folder. It took me a long time to make, so I hope you find the pleasure watching those pages.
I added a banner of the Watch U Seek G-Shock Forum on my intro page. I changed the colors a bit so that it matches more to my welcome page :-)
Have a nice day,
Sjors

The bandwidth of G-Peopleland was running out again. A normal website has enough with 2 Gigabytes bandwidth a year, but since April there was already 4 Gigabytes used! I just bought another 4 Gigs for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

November 22nd, 2003
Hi you G-Shock Lovers out there.
I can tell you the Beaujolais Villages Nouveau is perfect this year. I don't like Chevre, but the others told me it was a very good one. Fortunately I had a Belgian Pâté made with beer of the Saint Sixtus monastery of Westvleteren, one of the best pâtés I know, so you don't have to worry about me.
Today I bought finally the Black Solar Frogman, I wanted for a long time. It's gonna be a wearer. Bought it from a seller in Hong Kong with very good feedbacks. I'll let you know when it arrives and of course I'll show it on the "Masters of G" pages.
Sanne finally agreed to publish her adorable photo that was removed from the 7th page of her G-People section the day after I put it on the web. Personal I thought it was one of the best pictures I ever took of her, but you know how women are, she thought she looked like a hamster and didn't look nice enough. After some discussions I put the photo, with her permission, on the Watch U Seek G-forum and let other members decide what they thought about the photo. A lot of nice words addressed to her made her convince to place the photo back on that page.

November 21st, 2003
Bill Baker from the U.S. had published great pictures of his "Gold Defender" Frogman on the Watch U Seek forum. He agreed to publish those pictures on G-Peopleland in the Gold Defender series. They will appear here soon. Thanks Bill!
Today I received a funny big packet. It was my G-Shock backpack. It's a great bag, new, with all the tags still attached. According to the labels this is a U.K. product only, so I was very glad the seller would sent the bag to me. No time to take pictures today. Sorry, you've got to wait. I have a nice movie, a "chévre" (goat cheese) and a nice bottle Beaujolais Village Nouveau waiting for us waiting for tonight ;-) I hope you are going to enjoy your evening like I shall do,
Cheers,
Sjors

November 20th, 2003
Lot of new photos added today. The 20th Anniversary DW-5000 page is totally restyled. Also the Men In Yellow Riseman page, and added a link to my "normal" Riseman, called "Skytramp". The last addition is the Dan Drehoble version of the 21st C.B. series.
I have paid the Austrian seller of the "Men In Yellow" Gaussman, so I hope to see the watch at the end of next week, or the beginning of the week after that.
Special for my sister Mea some excerpts from the lyric of the Queens of the Stone Age - The lost Art of keeping a secret.
"I've got a secret, I cannot say.
You've got something you understand
What ever you do, don't tell anyone..."
I hope you get the point and know where to find it, you got to scroll a long way down!
Have a nice day , Cheers, I'm going to sleep...

Shocker started a topic about Fake G-Shock's at the Casio G-Forum. He placed some good photos of fake G-Shocks. 2 of them are really good fakes. I have put those pictures on my G-Fake Warning! frame on the Where to Buy page. I hope these pictures will protect you against buying a watch looking like a G-Shock, without the specifications of a G-Shock. Thanks Shocker, for bringing up this topic.
Today I won a very special yellow version of a Gaussman. The Case is bright yellow, with black accents. It also has a small Gaussman logo on the dial. The fact that it is an AW-570 tells me it's almost sure the Men In Yellow Gaussman. I hope to finish the transaction fast, but the watch is in Austria and I have no idea how long it will take for my money to get there, and the watch to get here. Of course it will be displayed on this site when I get it. So, I gonna drink my "Pelfoth Brune",
Cheers

November 15th, 2003
Yesterday I won a G-Shock Backpack auction. I found one in the U.K., so it wasn't really cheap. The seller was a very friendly guy, and I already paid it. If everything is alright it will arrive in the middle of next week.
Today arrived "Sinterklaas" (Saint Nicolas) in our country. It's a bit like Santa Claus, only he celebrates his Birthday on December 5th. He spends three weeks in our country, making little children happy with all sorts of presents. He has black colored helpers called "Zwarte Pieten", which means something like Black Pete's. They are very joyful and give the children candy. We all have seen him and his pete's arrive in the harbor of Middelburg. I'm curious what Sinterklaas brings me this year.
The first present my 5 y.o. Karel got for his Birthday was a little Brother called Derck. My sister Thea got a 7 Pounds son today.
------------------------------
November 14th, 2003
Today I added the pages of my Blue and grey Baby-G's of the G-Lide series. I also added two very nice pictures of Sanne on her pages in the G-People section.
------------------------------
November 13th, 2003
Yesterday I received a very nice Baby-G Tough label. It has a green/black color scheme and is brand new. Also I got a heavy used G-Shock of the 21st C.B. series. It's blue and designed by Don Drehobl. It has some nice drawings on the watchband and a moon with face in the E.L. I have a lot of things to do the coming days. Yesterday I went to a studio to take an interview for a local magazine for pop musicians. The deadline is Friday, so I need to write a lot. Tomorrow I don't have much time to take pictures, there I have to give some tests for students. I hope to get those new pages fast on-line, but I'm afraid it will be beginning next week. Just check this news section regularly. Cheers,
Sjors

November 11th, 2003
Not much news today. My sister Mea couldn't find the Raysman pages, so I added a link on November 10th. I have also made a lot of pictures of the blue and the grey Baby-G's from the G-Lide series. I won't have much time for that tomorrow, because I'm going to visit the biggest sound recording studio of my province for an interview.
Check out who was studying statistics in the Beta-Lab this afternoon:

November 10th, 2003
Again the "110 Volt Lovers" rocked "Kalashnikov". It was a great night. First I gave a DJ-set, and directly after that my band played the roof of the building for 60 minutes, just like 6 years ago. Afterwards we enjoyed DJ Evo his brilliant techniques on the SL-1200 turntables. All you dance lovers of Terneuzen out there, Thanks, you really Rock!
The grey Baby-G, I won last Thursday, appeared to be a nice gently worn asymmetric watch from the G-Lide series. I had also four Batteries replaced last Friday. It were the "Char'lot Coppola" G-Lide, a big GL-100V G-Lide, the blue Baby-G Glide and the yellow Reggae Baby-G. Unfortunately I didn't have time to make pictures. I've been away almost the whole weekend. The blue Baby-G is also confiscated by Sanne, who seem to like it instantly. I hope she doesn't forget to return it to me tomorrow, so I can take pictures of it. It should be nice in the G-Lide section, just like the grey asymmetric one.
Today I added new pictures of my Yellow Raysman and my Black Raysman on the pages. When I started this website, I only took one or some photo's of the watch. Now I try to show as much details as I can to special G's. The Raysman's are very important to me. I wear them a lot, because I think it's one of the best designed G-Shock's around.
I'm also trying to make some photo's of my grey/ black Riseman. I didn't have enough time today, so I shall try it again tomorrow. I'll let you know.
------------------------------
November 6th, 2003
Today I won a Grey Baby-G auction, very near to my hometown. I shall collect it tomorrow, if I have some time between. Today also a Yellow reggae Baby-G arrived. It looks like I'm having a Baby-G boom here! Again one with a dead battery, but it's a funny thing. Saturday we I'm playing with my band in Kalashnikov, Terneuzen. I will be also spinning records with my good friend DJ Evol, who is a resident DJ.
------------------------------
November 5th, 2003
Finally I got my DW-8300 working complete. Rich Andrews from the U.S. had a little tiny G-Shock alarm spring for me (approximately 4 mm). I easily found the hole for the spring, but when I first put it, it was to small. I stretched it a little. The alarm worked fine, but then the EL light didn't work anymore. After disassembling and assembling the watch several times, and a good hour of sweat, I managed to get the spring in the correct length that both the alarm and the EL light worked. All I used were tiny screwdrivers to remove the back and a piece of thin constantan wire, that I found on the physics department, to make the spring a bit smaller.
Today also a used blue Baby-G from the G-Lide series arrived. The battery is dead, so I let it be replaced first, before I know what to do with it.
See you around in G-Peopleland,
Sjors

November 3rd, 2003
Yesterday and today I spend a lot of time with finding and correcting faults in the lay-out of a lot pages. It's a very dull job, and I was happy my sister Mea was helping me a bit with finding those faults. I hope the website looks a bit more uniform now.
------------------------------
November 2nd, 2003
Finally finished the Baby-G "Werbung" page. I wanted some pictures of my son Bram on it, so you can see the size of this display. Yesterday evening I took those last Photo's, but after that I got some visitors, so I finished it today.
I also added the first internet shops in the Where to buy section. I hope this section will expand in the future, with the help of visitors of my page and the G-Shock forum.
------------------------------
October 31st, 2003
I took a lot of photo's of my new G-Shock Frogman GW-203. The EL photo was taken in a wind tunnel at my work. This was the darkest place I could find. There were students working on another project, who had a good time, observing me, while I was taking the pictures in the tube and got stuck time after time again. I took my revenge and put the Frog on an extreme small wrist of one of them. You can see the result also on the pages. It took me a long time to build the pages, so I hope you will enjoy this extreme beautiful watch.
I won an auction of an used 21st B.C. G-Shock. It's the blue version, designed by Dan Drehobl. If I have it, it will be my second 21st B.C. G-Shock in my collection.

October 30th, 2003
Hi you all out there. Big day today. In may I fell in love with the I.C.E.R.C. Frogman. Today it arrived!!! I was dancing around in my backyard when I saw the package in through my backroom window. Finally it arrived. I haven't taken it out of the box now. I shall take some pics tomorrow, while I'm at my school. Just like my Gulfman, only the package is awesome. This is one of the biggest gains of the year, I think.
Another great high. Yesterday a "Norwegian Guy" sent me an e-mail, asking details about the DW-8300. He wanted to buy one, but also wanted some pictures of a girl wearing them. Today I found my Baby-sit Sanne wandering lonely through my school, left alone by her friends. I asked her if I could take some photo's with the DW-8300, and she agreed. I also swapped my Raysman with her today. She's a born G-Shock model! Unfortunately she didn't give permission to publish the photo with the Raysman. She thinks she looks to young, but I think she is just pure natural, anyway, sorry, only I can watch that one.... Tomorrow I shall try to find some more victims to show my g's, just for fun. By the way, I'm drinking a "Pelforth Brune", one of the best beers produced in France. It really triggers the Holiday mood. The new pics of Sanne can be found on her sixth(!) page in the G-People section. Check them out and have Fun!!!! Seeya around...

October 28th, 2003
Busy, Busy, Busy... Yesterday I brew a new beer with two students. I was shocked by the fact they didn't wear watches. In brewing keeping time is very important, so I have used my MTG-520B-2AVCR a lot of times.
Saturday on Sunday night the Daylight Saving Time (Summertime in Europe) was over, I had to set about 138 G-Shock's one hour back. I think I finished about 50% now. Keeping my ltd. ed. in their special boxes had its disadvantage. It's a lot more work now to set the times. So I'm very happy that I just finished those G-Shock's.
On Sunday October 26th, I won an auction of a new green Baby-G Tough Label. I thought he was a Dutch seller, but he is a Dutch guy living in the Czech Republic.
Today I won another auction of an used Baby-G G-Lide. Finally I have a Baby-G with double Velcro watchband. It's also a Dutch seller. This one fortunately lives in the Netherlands, so I hope to see this watch soon.
My son Bram had done it again. He threw up a Maple seed in the air. It floated, helicoptering in the air, with a nice curve into his cup of lemonade. Well, that's why I like Beeches more. They are nuts. We also watched the news about our young public television broadcast BNN. They had a dutch slogan: "We are sitting in deep Shit". My son watched in his favorite chair and said: "Mamma, Shit", pointing to his diaper.....

I added a new E-Shop in the Sellers and Shops section. It is the Higuchi-inc shop, located in Japan. A frequent visitor on the G-Shock forum on Watch U Seek attended me on this shop. It seems to be very reliable, and has a friendly and very fast service. It takes 3 working days to get an order from Japan to NY. That's pretty fast.
Still had no time to add the Baby-G Display. Tomorrow I will be working on our central heating system and in the evening I have the Birthday party of my big friend and 110 Volt Lover "Bleephead", so I think I won't be able to make that page tomorrow. Patience, patience, everything will be O.K. In a few minutes I will go to Antwerp. Felix Da Housecat (Chicago) will be spinning his records in Café d' Anvers. Cheers, I'll see you around.

October 23th, 2003
In may 2003 Casio released the Limited Edition I.C.E.R.C. Frogman 2003. This monster is Tough Solar, and has a lot of more or less useful functions. This one was on my mind for months, and finally, today I bought one in Los Angeles. The retail price of this translucent red monster was $650,- but I bought it for a more reasonable price (still no cats pee). In the far future I hope to get myself also a normal black version to wear.
I made pictures of one of my newest acquisition, a Casio Baby-G Display that looks like a bread toaster. I shal try to make some more, so you can see what it's dimensions are. When I bought it I thought it was about 20 cm long, but it really has the dimensions of a toaster, and I don't have a clue how it was displayed. Fortunately they removed the electronic circuit, so I can't accidentally toast my Baby-G's :-) I hope to place them on my site soon.
Long day tomorrow. Lot of things to do. First I must go shopping for Birthday presents for some friends, who happen to celebrate their birthday on the same day. Then I have to visit the first birthday. After that I will go to Antwerp, to watch Felix the Housecat spin his records in Cafe d' Anvers. Also Robert Hood (Underground Resistance) will give a DJ-set.

October 21th, 2003
I have found a lost photo of the back of the GL-110. I was Amazed that I had forgotten all that. Probably I was puzzled by the background. It has a very wanted screw back, and that on a G-Lide. It's probably the only G-Lide version with a screw back.

October 19th, 2003
Whoohaa! I survived a second long day. I Love Techno 2003 was awesome. The greatest high was Richie Hawtin, but also Monika Kruse was very good. Her big Blue Double Velcro G-Lide (probably an older DW-003) was prominent in the picture on the large screens, projecting VJ-images and the DJ-Cam. Already when she spinned the first record, she almost pushed her G-Shock into the camera. Other Highs were Oliver Bondzio (Classic Acid tunes), Stanny Fransen and Cajmere. I saw a lot of G-Shock's and Baby-G's worn by visitor, but this time I could almost resist myself not jumping on everybody to observe their G's.
When I was enjoying Casjmere, I spotted a ltd. ed. green G-Shock. I don't know the model number, but it's the kind which is made for snowboarders, to wear over your coat, with an extra loop on the watchband for the ski pass.
I wore two G-Shock's, a DW-003 G-Lide and a DW-9501 Tough Label Beat & BPM. The last one I used to check the tempi of the records played by the DJ's.
Due to the new 6 km tunnel, I was able to lie in my bed around 7.00 a.m.
Today I couldn't resist to raise a bid on a used yellow Baby-G with Reggae colors, and I won. I'm curious what I won this time..
O.K. It's getting late, and I can hear my bed call. I'm gonna dream of all those people wearing G's I've seen.

October 18th, 2003
110 Volt Lovers Rules. Yesterday our band rocked the "Groove to Chill" party with a new live set. There were a lot of photo's taken on this party. Check out picture nr. 37. I'm totally naked, except for my Gee :-) Today we're going to I Love Techno, Flanders Expo, Gent (B), so there will be not much G-news for, sorry. While I visited I Love Techno in 2001 I spotted a lot of other Gees, so I hope to spot a lot of them tonight. Unfortunately are camera's forbidden, so I join them with you. My Legends Richie Hawtin and the Underground Resistance will spin their records and 909's. Of course I will take a look at Monika Krusse. She always wears two Baby-G's. Have a good time, don't worry about mine. I will be in 7th heaven.
Cheers from G-peopleland,
Power to the People

October 16th, 2003
I have added a page dedicated to my new DW-8300 "Heavy Metal" today. I took it on a sightseeing tour over my lab, and I even strapped it on the smallest wrist I could find walking around. Find it all out. I was so stupid to change the battery myself. I lost the tiny little spring that is needed to make the alarm (while saying 100 times "Don't change your batteries yourself!!!"). Fortunately you can't hear the alarm on my page, so you won't notice the difference :-)
Yesterday I got a very funny thing. It was called a "Casio Baby-G Werbung", and still I do not even know what it is. It looks like a toaster, but has two small round wholes on the top. It comes from a Casio dealer from Paderborn, Sauerland, Germany, who I owe a beer now ;-)
My oldest sister, who always checks my lousy English spelling, complained that I didn't write much in my news section, Ha Ha. Sometimes it's better not to have to much news, there I have limited financial recourses.
On the other hand I do not have much time to spend on my website now. At this moment there are two musicians panting in my neck. Tomorrow we have our first performance on "Groove to Chill" with the new 110 Volt Lovers live set. If you are in the Neighbourhood, come and swing! A lot of Love and Happiness going out to you from G-Peopleland,
Cheers!!!

October 10th, 2003
I met my colleague Jeannot today. He was wearing his new Casio Triple Sensor Tough Solar Pathfinder, so I decided to take some pictures of him, although it's not a G-Shock, it's an awesome big watch. I also received my 5th (!) Codename Marc Aurele today. Only 9 to go until the 150 G-Shock's.
------------------------------
October 9th, 2003
Today I added Merel's G-people page. I made the pictures in a Gym, nearby my school. In spite of the fact there were more than 45 students sporting on 3 or 4 different fields, she managed to make some time to pose for some pictures. She was very enthusiastic about the fact she could join the G-People club.
Had good fun at my work today. Ask a class "What's the cause of food turning bad? "The answer of a 14 year old girl: "A micro-orgasm".
------------------------------
Today I got my second Blue dial MT-G Neon Illuminator. This time it easily passed the customs. It was still in a blister, like they are sold in big U.S. supermarkets. I bought this second one, because my first one has a lot of scratches, due to the bad sunscreens swings in my laboratory :-(
------------------------------
October 8th, 2003
My DW-8300 is finally working. Man, this thing is huge. Like having a spaceship on your wrist. I missed the Parcel Service yesterday. Tomorrow this package with a brand new MTG-520 Neon Illuminator will be delivered. I hope to see Merel also, so I can make some pictures of this young Sports teacher. My sister Mea is frequently reading my new pages, correcting my poor English spelling:-) So if you see some faults disappear from this page for example, you know how that happened. Thanks sis!
------------------------------
October 7th, 2003
Yesterday I got a DW-8300. It's called Heavy Metal ion Germany and this thing is Big! Unfortunately the battery was dead, so I had to replace it at the jewelers. I discovered some little faults on some links in this news section on October the 4th, but I have corrected them.
------------------------------
October 6th, 2003
I have added two Time related links. The first one is a World Time Table with DST (Summertime) corrections and the second one is about the history of Daylight Saving Time. A remarkable story.
------------------------------
October 5th, 2003
Stergios Zamanis from Greece had posted a message on the G-Shock forum of Watch-U-Seek referring to the Official Honk Kong Casio Website in his continuing search for a Riseman . I discovered a lot of info about recent and past limited editions and series on that site. As a bonus you also get cool Flash animations of some G-Shock series. I immediately improved my Gold Defender page with the correct information. I also added some links to two discothèques with class in Belgium. Cafe d' Anvers is one of the Clubs I try to visit when I have a free Saturday.
------------------------------
October 4th, 2003
Two days ago I got my DW-056GM-9DR "Blue Dragon" Gold Defender, which was produced in a limited edition in march 2002. Normally I don't like gold, but this one is a beauty. I also added some photo's of the BG-350 on Nance her G-People page. I also found out that the G-Shock Codename Marc Aurele was produced in a limited edition of 1200 pieces, distributed from Germany. On my fourth Aurele there was a sticker attached, which can be seen on the Marc Aurele Box page. I hope my DW-8300 will be here soon, but I'm afraid that I have to wait a while. I expected it today, but my Saturday postman didn't come by my house today. It happened earlier that I got my package arrived exactly one week later than it was planned. Remider: Have you been nice to your pet (s) or other animals today? It's World Animal Day today!
Well, I see you around in G-Peopleland.
------------------------------
October 1st, 2003
Today I added 2 G-People. Yara and Dena. They were working in the so called "Beta lab", so I caught them together working on their science project. As a bonus they asked me to take a picture of the two together for my website. I think that photo is a beautiful addition to my site. I also saw Merel, a sports teacher at my school. She wants to be on the site too, but she wasn't dressed properly, due to the rainy wheather. I hope despite the very bad weather the smile's of Yara and Dana bring you some some sunshine :-)
Have fun.
------------------------------
September 30th, 2003
I had reached the limit of the G-Peopleland mirror site on my providers server, so I decided to delete my mirror site. I have a student which I help on a chemical project on my school, who wants to be G-People too. I'm taking my camera with me tomorrow, so wait and see. Well, that's about all I have to say today. See you soon for more pics!
------------------------------
September 29th, 2003
The autumn has definitely begun. Good weather to test your G-Shock's Mud Resistancy. Yesterday I added 3 new G-People. These are Alex, Nance and Ron. I also have an answer to a frequently asked question: How to connect a buckle on a Double and Single Velcro G-Shock watchband. I have added the manuals of the three types of buckles. You will find these new pages here. I also got the DW-8800AB-9T designed by Marc Aurele and another black G-Shock T-Shirt. I also bought a second MTG-520B-2AVCR. My first one had some scratches on the watchband, caused by operating the sun screens at my school. It now has become my G-Shock @ Work.
------------------------------
September 24th, 2003
Today a packet arrived with 6 G-Shock/Baby-G watchbands. A black silk Baby-G band for my son Bram his Baby-G for when he is older and not is chewing on it...... Also a Hooks-Up and a Maroon G-Lide double Velcro bands. Also a G-Shock Power Up Kit, with three resin watchbands. Guess what comes next...
------------------------------
September 23rd, 2003
The less money you have, the more G-Shock's you don't want to miss. I won 2 remarkable G-Shocks recently. The first one is a 2nd hand, but barely used DW-8300 "Heavy Metal". It was on my wanted list for a long time, but every time I tried to win an auction I was outbid, until now. And that for only € 15,-.
The second one is the DW-056GM-9DR Gold Defender. A limited edition G-Shock in a classic DW-5600E look. The finishing is gold. Even the buckle is gold colored. It has to come from Hong Kong, so it will take some time to arrive.
I also received a mail from Germany that my "Positive Yellow" G-Shock Codename, designed by Marc Aurele is on it's way to G-Peopleland. Due to arrive end of this week. Although there were only 1200 made, I already have 3, so this will be my fourth. Unfortunately for you, I don't need to make a new page, because I already have made one.
I also met Merel today, a sports teacher with a very beautiful green Baby-G, probably of the G-Lide series. She loves to taken up into the G-People gallery. More G-Peopleland pages to come, that looks good for the future.
Have a nice day and make some G-fun, I'm going to open a bottle of vintage beer and make some good noise,
Cheers

September 19th, 2003
Hi there. Looking at my Gee, I saw it was about time to write a little news update. Not much shocking news from G-Peopleland. I just got some new Original G-Shock watchbands and six other ones should be on their way. I also won an auction of another Marc Aurele Codename (My fourth!), so that's not worth a new page. I also won a G-Shock T-Shirt, but that one is also my third. Unfortunately for my fans, I won't perform live in G-Shock shirt Saturday next week, but in my brand new "Queens of the Stone Age" shirt, but don't be afraid, I will wear at least 3 G's on stage. I wish you a lot of Love, Peace and Happiness from G-Peopleland!
------------------------------
September 4th, 2003
Today I added a page with my red Codename Cipher. I also added a nice vacation photo of Sanne in the G-People section. It's on the 5th page. There will be no much updating next month I think, like I wrote on 31st of august, my financial recourses had run dry during my vacation, so there will not be new G-Shock's next month :-( I'm still hoping to get enough money to buy me a 20th Anniversary G-600SP-1ADR and a Solar Frogman.
------------------------------
August 31st, 2003
Finally I finished the page for the Lovers Collection 1998. I have made some more photo's of the DW-5600C and my newest acquisition, a red G-Shock Codename. They will appear on the site in the next days. I have spend a lot of money during my vacation, so I won't buy much new G-Shocks next month:-( You can spend your money only once, and I had a great time, so no regrets. There is a very nice glass of Belgian brown ale next to me, longing to be drunk. Cheers!!!
------------------------------
August 29th, 2003
I have done a lot of things not concerning G-Peopleland lately. As moderator of the G-Shock Forum on Watch U Seek, I spend a lot of my rare free time to check the latest posts. Last week I put my Brother in Law John on-line. He bought one of my Gaussman's with the yellow finishing. My school is moving into a new building, so I do not have much time to keep the Website updated every day (sorry). Today I finally put my DW-5600C-1V on-line. I'm busy to get the Lovers Collection '98 on-line. In the meanwhile I also bought a red DW-8800 Codename Cipher. Still a lot of work to do.....
------------------------------
August 20th, 2003
Hi there. I had a very cool and active vacation. I spotted some G's in the Ardennes, but, sorry, no pictures. I have not been to my Casio dealer, but I think I go there tomorrow. First I have to unpack my things and get my life in order. I have seen a lot mails on the G-Shock Board, so there is a lot to do for me in the near future. I'm going to bed now, I can't almost keep them open. See Ya!
------------------------------
August 14th, 2003
I'm Sorry. I've been on the road for the whole day, to get my short vacation things in order . I have collected my Lovers Collection 1998 from my Casio dealer, but unfortunately the DW-5600C needs a special battery. My dealer has ordered one, so I can take it with me next week when I get home. I had no time to take pictures of my new G-Shock's. Watch U Seek has asked me to be the Moderator on the new G-Shock forum and I accepted that task. I'll be back next week with of course a news update and maybe some nice G-pictures. Have a good time, like I will do!!!
------------------------------
August 13th, 2003
Today I received the Lovers Collection 1998 and a vintage DW-5600. The last one is probably the one and only DW-5600C, but I have no pictures yet. All three watches had worn out batteries so they are now at my regular Casio dealer. I hope I can get them online tomorrow, else it will be the end of next week, because I'm going out on a short vacation with Sanne , visiting Trappist monasteries, Belgium Breweries and of course spotting nice G-Shocks and Baby-G's in the Ardennes.
------------------------------
August 11th, 2003
Today I won an auction of a red Codename. Finally, after 3 Marc Aurele's and 2 Lovers Collection's models a normal Codename. Here's a picture of my new gain.

Looks pretty neat, doesn't it?
------------------------------
August 8th, 2003
The G-Shock Lovers Collection 1998 is on it's way to me. I found some nice pictures that matched the photo's from the auction. I really looking forward to that package. I hope it will reach me before Friday next week, because I will be away for some days.
August 7th, 2003
Hi out there in G-Peopleland. The temperatures are freaking high up here, so I will keep it short, so I can go outdoors. I was fed up with the colors of the old guestbook, so I have adjusted it meanwhile destroying my mirror site but that's also fixed now.
-----------------------------
WOOOOO-HAAAAAA!!!
I just received the never released ultra rare promo-CD of Thomas Bangalter and DJ Falcon's summer hit "So much love to give", with the super underground dance mix .
I'm Happy :-)))))
-----------------------------
August 4th, 2003
It's been a hot weekend, and they forecast a heat wave. This means spending a lot of time outdoors and on the beach, spotting a lot of German people, wearing G-Shock's and Baby-G's. I won two German auctions. The first one is an used DW-5600 and the second one is an used Lovers Collection 1998 "Memories in White, Devil and Angel". In contrary to it's name, this set is a black one. I haven't got contact with the second seller yet, but I hope to hear from him soon, there the seller was actually not selling internationally. I often win national German auctions, but only once the seller refused to sell it to me, because I was not German, so I hope this transaction will run prosperous. I am looking forward to it.

July 28th, 2003
It's been a busy week with a lots of high's, but not especially G. My son's 3rd birthday lasted almost a week. Every day we had family visitors from over the country, because my parents also returned from a trip to Indonesia after almost a half year. Between the activities I also bought another midnight blue BGX-200 and a blue Hawaiian Lovers Collection 2002. Both will arrive about the end of the week.
My summer holidays are begun, so I have started training with my mountain bike again. Today I controlled 5 steep slope's in the dunes, including the steepest one in this region. Although I have a special "Cateye" altitude/thermo bicycle computer, the time control was in hand of two G-Shocks (one for the countdown timer and the other to keep time and for stopwatch).
I have added also a new G-People page of my sister Thea, showing her birthday present I gave her. Get tough, hang loose, whatever.... Have Fun!
-----------------------------
July 22nd, 2003
I recently had some contact with "Lithium Ion" from the U.S.. He had bought a Titanium ProTrek Waveceptor in Hong Kong, and wanted to know if I knew the module number, there he wanted to study the manual, while the the shipping was in progress. I couldn't help him, there I need to see the back of the watch, but he found an interesting way to recover the module number, without having the watch. If you are interested, go to the "Where to Buy" section, and choose "Which model is it?" I also got some answers about the quantity of a "Limited Edition". Unfortunately there is not much known about how many are made of a limited model, except for the ones with a serial number or a certificate. It's only known that they are produced for a very short period. I couldn't have done this without the help of Lithium Ion, FUMI, Orange 5 and Yachtrays providing me all this information. Thanks Guys!!!
-----------------------------
July 21st, 2003
Visually not much happened. The weather is to good to stay inside, and it's also Bram's 3rd birthday today. I added 2 pictures of Sanne in the G-People Section and made some aesthetic improvements to some pages. I got some interesting mails from site visitors, which I'll try to answer as soon as possible.
-----------------------------
July 17th, 2003
Finally I finished the G-Promotion Section. As last I added the G-Shock Backpack page, and the past days I added the CD's and the Cards pages.
-----------------------------
July 15th, 2003
I have edited the G-Links page. There were a lot of official G-Shock links and a lot of fan pages. I received also a nice packet from Honolulu. It's the Hawaiian Lovers Collection! Great watches. The watches will appear soon, maybe today on the site.
-----------------------------
July 13th, 2003
I have done a lot of editing to my site today. I found some lay-out faults that I finally have corrected. I also had added much more pictures at the red BGX-200 page, that I have taken in my garden yesterday. You will even find an old friend of mine sunbathing. I also added a new BGX-200 page dedicated to the Midnight Blue version. This version shall be in my collection only for a short time, it's actually a birthday present for my youngest sister Thea, who lives on the other side of my country and is on vacation in France.
-----------------------------
I have added also a new link that was provided by my friend Eric from Ohio. In his search for his G-Shock of the Rolling Stones series with the pin-up backlight, he encountered an official Casio page with remarkable backlight designs.
-----------------------------
July 12th, 2003
Today I added the Wademan in the Masters of G section, the DJ Spooky of the Silver Collection in the Music section and the Red Camouflage Tough Solar G-Shock in the 20th Anniversary section. Check them out!
-----------------------------
July 11th, 2003
Yes, Yes, Yes! Another G-People contri, and this time a very special one. I spotted her while shopping in a local supermarket. Check out the Emma page!
-----------------------------
I have also added two pages on Bram's G-People corner. These new pictures are real summer pic's so check them out.
-----------------------------
July 10th, 2003
Hi out there . A Giant leap in G-Peopleland. Six! watches arrived today. Two red solar camo G-Shocks, a black and yellow Wademan, A silver collection DJ Spooky version, and two different BGX-200's, a red one and a Midnight blue one. One red solar camo is for my colleague Paul D. (see G-People section), and the midnight blue BGX-200 is a birthday present for my youngest sister Thea. Well I don't have much time to make new pages at the moment but stay tuned for more!!!
-----------------------------
July 8th, 2003
I spent a lot of time this weekend to set up new topics in the menu. The topic about backlights has moved to the G-Stories section. I replaced the free space with two new topics.
The first one is a topic about Promotional materials, like T-shirts, backpacks, cap's, etc. I have made already some pages, but I will add some more in the future.
The second topic is "Where to buy". Here I try to help people to buy a G-Shock or Baby-G. I had got several mails from people who wanted to buy a G-Shock, but did not know how to find one. I have made a section where you can also try to find out the model number of a watch you like. There is also a section about fake G-Shock and Baby-G models, and how to separate the real from the fake models. In the past I once bought a fake Baby-G on an advertisement with a picture of a real one. That was not funny, so I hope that I can help prevent people to buy these watches.
-----------------------------
Today I also bought myself a Hawaiian Lovers Collection 2002. I bought it in Honolulu, Hawaii, so it will take a long time to get here I think. It was a tip of my friend Eric of Ohio who also bought this set. Thanks Eric!
-----------------------------
Yesterday I saw a little student in our deserted school. It was Leela. She proudly had showed me her "Pucca" watch some time ago. I asked if I could take some pictures. She looked at me with those severe brow eyes for a while. Then a smile appeared and she said: "O.K.". You can see the results here. I also added a funny pic that I had taken of her eating an ice cream.
-----------------------------
July 5th, 2003
Last night, when I was not at home, I won two special G-Shock auctions. The first one in a Wademan DW-9800-1BVT. In contrary to the regular black with red accents model, this is a black version with yellow accents. The Second one is the DW-003M-GR. This is the DJ Spooky model of the Silver Collection of November 1999. I hope to get my latest acquisitions here at the end of the week..
-----------------------------
I also got a declaration letter of the Dutch customs yesterday. A package of 4 watches, 2 G-Shock's and 2 Baby-G's has arrived in the Netherlands. This package holds a red camouflage solar G-Shock and a red BGX-200 for me. It also holds another red camouflage solar G-Shock for my colleague Paul D. and a midnight blue version of the BGX-200, that's a birthday present for my youngest sister Thea. I have returned the forms electronic, so I hope to get them by Tuesday or Wednesday.
-----------------------------
July 3rd, 2003
Today I got a second G-Shock MT-G Neon Illuminator. This time it's a version with a blue dial and no ciphers on the display. This seems to be a model for the European and U.S. market. This one is not assembled in Japan, but in Thailand. Though there are no significant differences, it even has the same module and weight, the price is remarkable cheaper, about $100,-!
-----------------------------
June 24th, 2003
I got the battery refreshed on the G-Lide "Air and Style ", so I added a better photo on that page. I also made a lot of pictures of my vintage G-Shocks and finished my Vintage section today. Please have a look. I also finally managed to find a red BGX-200, with some help of a friend in Brooklyn NYC. Thanks Michael!!!
-----------------------------
June 21th, 2003
Well, not much things happened. I got a black DW-9300 Raysman for my brother's Birthday, and last night I won by accident an auction of a blue dial MT-G Neon Illuminator. I just tried to discover what the highest bid was, oooops, the highest bid. I didn't worry, because it was at least 12 hours before ending of the auction, but surprisingly nobody took a bid anymore. It was with $76,- a really cheap buy, because the are at mostly at least $115,- at the moment. And it's also quiet before the storm. I have arranged that I can buy 2 red camouflage solar G-Shock's (one for my colleague Paul D. and a Midnight Blue BGX-200 Baby-G for my sister. Today I discovered an awesome art link. It's called "Hoogerbrugge" and has some beautiful short interactive animations.
-----------------------------
June 16th, 2003
I have added a lot more G-Lide's. I'm not finished with this section, if you look at the Double Velcro Band G-Lide's you'll find out that there is still more to come. Stay Tuned for more!!!
-----------------------------
June 14th, 2003
I have added a new Beauty. It is the I.C.E.R.C. Baby-G, I bought for Noor. So actually it's not my watch, but I had the opportunity to have the watch first for a photo shoot.
-----------------------------
June 10th, 2003
I have added the G-Lide DW-003S series and a DWX-100 G-Lide, more coming up.
-----------------------------
June 9th, 2003
I took a lot of photo's for a new section: The G-lide series. I have already rerouted some pages, and new ones will be added soon. It seems Siep has survived the attack of the Bouvier yesterday. She moves not very fast and elegant a normal, but she moves...

June 8th, 2003
WOW, I don't know what is happening in the world, but it seems that the official U.S. homepage of G-Shock is totally restyled. The famous flash intro is alas moved for a silent shocking animation. The biggest surprise for me is that there is a new Official European G-Shock website, listening to the name of Tough Tested! opened, with the new G-Shock Commercial. Just when I tested the Base-jump game (Grrr), my poor 13 yr old cat Siep was severe bitten by a big Bouvier (ouch!!!). While there was blood running out of his chin, chest and nose, she already stumbles through the house. Guess such a rough cat deserves a G-Shock too!

I have added some new links on the links page. Check out the PORNSTAR CLOTHING store!!! It's still the best combination of leisure wear, A Pornstar shirt with a big G-Shock ;-)

I took some pictures of my GL-150-4V Ocean Outlaw in April, but I forgot them. When I searched to some lost pictures, which seems easy, because there are hundreds and hundreds of photo's of my collection on my computers. Well, after two months, finally they are published in G-Peopleland.

Yesterday, late in the afternoon I called the expeditor for information of my MT-G Neon Illuminator. They told me the watch wasn't released at the customs yet. There it was already late, they told me it would probably be released today, so that I got the watch Tuesday. I was a bit disappointed, there I filled in the declaration form as soon as could electronically. Against all my expectations, the watch finally got here today, so you can view the pictures that I have taken of this beauty. You can find them here. Enjoy!

Hi there! I received a letter from the Customs for declaration of my new red dial MT-G Neon Illuminator. I hope it will get here soon.
-----------------------------
Look what I found walking in my Laboratory. She's blond, long legged and wears a G-Shock..
-----------------------------
I also ordered a blue I.R.E.R.C. Baby-G (BG-163-2BV) for Sanne's little sister Noor. I.C.E.R.C. stands for International Cetacean Education Research Centers, If everything goes right, in a few days Noor will be looking to her Dolphin animated Baby-G. She also wants to be adopted in the G-People community, and of course, Noor, you are welcome! Have you already seen the June 2003 I.C.E.R.C. collection yet at the G-Shock homepage? That red Frog is awesome, but I am afraid, I will never see one for real...
-----------------------------
I have changed the "Not G-People" section into a frame based page, so I can display more pictures on one page with their comments. I also changed the name of "want to be G-People" to "Almost G-People". There are no contributions yet, but I have already one in mind. It will be used for people wearing remarkable watches that are not of the G-Shock brand. Of course we want to keep this section so small as possible, but sometimes you simply have to show those pic's.

YEs, Yes, Yes. My band 110 Volt Lovers has won "De Zeeuwse Belofte", a competition for the most promising band of my province Zeeland, in the category "Dance" last night. Champagne is still going around in my head.

I have repaired a not correct working link to the BGX-221. I also have corrected some pages containing the BGX-200, because I had used the wrong model number.

I found something very special growing in my garden. It had long blond hair, and had huge a black G-Shock.... Check out this page.

A major breakthrough!!! After a lot of searches and negotiating in Europe, Japan and the US I finally found and bought a MR-T Neon-Illuminator with a red dial. I will have to eat dry bread for about a month (again...), but it is worth it! Thanks Michael.

The BGX-221 has been added in the Beauties section.

I've been to a theatrical festival in Belguim past weekend. There I met Frederik at a workshop "drawing cartoons".
-----------------------------
Today arrived a beautiful red Tough Solar Baby-G. This one should be soon displayed on this site in the Beauties section.

Another problem solved. After receiving some complains about the guestbook my friend BleepheaD found out that the problem was not my guestbook, but his Firewall. The Firewall blocks the cgi.bin program that sends the message to the Guestbook.

The G-people section is getting bigger and Bigger. Today a small contribution of "Margot" is added. When do you decide to join the G-People?

May 18th, 2003
The Gaussman section has been renewed. There are a lot of pictures added, and the two versions that I own have separate pages. Check it out!
-----------------------------
I have modified about 25 to 30 pages. If I've done everything O.K. everyone watching with a resolution lower than 1024x 768 must be able to see all the text.

Happy Birthday Dad. He's with my mum in Indonesia on holidays for some months so I have to do this on this impersonal way.
-----------------------------
My brother Paul wrote me a few days ago that some texts were not readable. I found out that people with a lower display resolution than 1024 x 768 could have problems with my fixed field pages, because the text is to big. My friend Bleephead has learned me how to use frames on my pages, and now you can see some result. This newsflash is made in a in-line frame. I also discovered how to use backgrounds (Há, that is something you didn't know Bleep :-))))), it took me some time to figure out, but now I'm lost of that awful white background).
-----------------------------
I have made a DW-9005V section under the name Heavenly Smoking Cosmox and added the story behind it under G-Stories.
-----------------------------
I have made a Feature of my big square and green DW-8150 of the Techno Series. I have placed it in the Special series.

When I had the photo shoot with our babysitter and G-Person Sanne, she wore my BG-200X. When she went home, she "forgot" to take of the watch (right!). Meanwhile, she has become a real G-person instead of a Swatch person. There are not much people in her neighbourhood who haven't seen her flashing around with her new bright red gadget.
So I had to look around last month for a new red solar version of the BG-200X, and finally I found one, a BG-221-4AV. I bought it immediately and I expect to get this watch next week.

May 14th, 2003
Today I received both the "Cosmoxer" and the green DW-8150 of the "Techno" Series. Now I got the DW-9005 series complete, and I've finally got a big square G-Shock model. As both watches mean a lot to me, they will appear soon on this website, I think in the special series section under the names "Cosmos" and "Techno". I am also still working hard to get our band's life set complete, so it may take a few days...

May 11th, 2003
Today I won an auction of a DW-9005V. It is one of my old wanted models, known in Germany as the "Cosmoxer". I once bought one in at an on-line shop, but I got a white version, known as "Smokey Sunset". But finally, after more than 2 years of waiting, it's coming. I hope to have it at the end of the week. The series would be complete then, so another reason make a new subject in the special series...
----------------------------
I have added a little consideration about reversed displays in the G-Stories section.
May 9th, 2003
Finally I got a Frogman. It's Huge, it's my 120th G-Shock, and it fits fantastic! I haven't found out all the functions yet (it's a DW-8200). I now want to save some money to buy a solar Frog. Though it's second hand, it looks like this one is never been worn. WOW! It shall surely appear on this site soon.
----------------------------
I am also writing new songs for my band 110 Volt Lovers, so I don't have much time to add new pages. There this site has more than 130 pages, I don't think someone will notice that...
----------------------------
May 8th, 2003,
My old school friend Perry has left a message on my Guestbook. Haven't seen him for some years, but I hope to meet him this weekend. He wants to be a G-Person, but he once was (his G died some years ago).

may 6th 2003
Today I got two DW-6900 from Germany. They were the red and yellow version of the watch seen in Mission Impossible 2. Funny people there in Germany. I also got a menu from the local Chinese Restaurant.
----------------------------
I have finished the movie section in the special series. I took a long time to find some suitable backgrounds.

Today we celebrate that our country was freed from W.W.II on may the 5th in 1945, but before partying I finished a new G-People person. It's my oldest sister Mea. My younger sister Thea also wants a Baby-G, so in the near future I hope to add her too in the G-People section.

April 30th 2003
Today we celebrate the birthday of our Queen. I also added the Black models section to my site and I created this News section.
