I got a very nice G-Shock in the mail Tuesday. I have been looking for a Stussy model for a long time. These models were not easy to get (except for the last two models). The model I got is the StüXXV version, for the 25th anniversary in 2005. I got it for a reasonable price and I am very proud to own it. As a G-Shock collector I thought I should get at least one of the Bape models and one of the Stussy models. Somehow I managed to get both models within one year (I got the Bape model in January 2010).

It will probably not be the last G-Shock I'll buy this year. I will be visiting some good friends in Kyoto and Tokyo in the forthcoming weeks. It is not unthinkable that I will buy one or more G-Shocks in Japan. Since I probably won't be editing G-Peopleland this month, I wish all you loyal readers and viewers of my website G-Peopeland and my G-Shock weblog 50 Gs a very great Holiday season. See you next year with many Gs!

It has been a time ago before I updated G-Peopleland. I took a few days to take photo's and edit them for here and today finally I finished 5 new pageg with also 5 new models.
First, an AW-591. It is a basic Ana-Digi model. I somewhat forgot that I had this watch. I got it in September as a special gift from Casio. In august I bought a Exilim EX-G1 camera. If you returned a card, you got a free G-Shock. Voila!
Next is my new GX-56 King of G-Shock. It's the black version with the negative display. It was a little hard to take photo's of it, but it's a great watch. It has rarely been off my wrist since I have it. It's huge, like my GXW-56.
Recently I got a pink GLS-5500MM-4DR. In Japan this model was released under the Crazy Colors series, but overseas it is called the Summer Color series. I have archived it under both names for easier finding. It is a beautiful bright pink model. pretty cool!
The Crazy Color series also brought the red metallic version of the DW-6900CS series. I now have all four of the metallic Crazy Color models of the spring 2010.
Last, but not least, is my newest GF-8250-9JF Frogman. I have been looking out for this model for a long time. It is a tribute model of the Men In Yellow Frogman. It has the same dimensions, but an updated Solar module with a Tidegraph and Moon Phase. This Frogman has cost me some money, but it was worth every cent. A very great Frogman model!

I had put new meta tags on my website last week, but somehow the navigation menu was lost on the front page. Luckily I could retrieve it again. Happy navigating :-)

Today I published an article about my new Dee and Ricky G-Shock. This GA-110DR-1ACR is a very colorful watch. The design is inspirited by the famous Lego bricks. You can see the primary colors come back in the watch. I had a lot of luck with getting this watch, as I had no funds to buy this watch when it was released in July. Now the prices are unfortunately pretty high.
In June I got the G-300BWC FIFA volunteers watch. I somehow forgot to add a page of this watch on my website. A pity, because it is quite a different watch. I specially like the package. It comes in a wooden box and on the inside there is a personal message from Franz Beckenbauer, the man who organized the FIFA World Cup 2006.

My trip to Japan is now coming close. I have a little money to spend for watches, but there is quite a big watch in the pipeline. The only thing that has to happen is that this model needs to be released. It will be released at the end of the month, so I guess/hope I get a mail from Japan at the end of this week.

I haven't got much time to update G-Peopleland the past months, but I have gotten several beautiful G-Shock models in my collection. I have finally taken a lot of photo's of my new G-Shocks and made new photo's. Also I got a funny Key Chain with one of my purchases.
Just before I went on vacation I got a mail from a friend and a co-author on 50 Gs. He had a nice MT-G model for sale. We finished the transaction after my holidays, so I got this beautiful MTG-120 in my collection. It is not a model I really knew, but it looks pretty much like my MRG-121. I think it is special, because it is an analog model with a date window.

Around the same time a package was delivered from my co-moderator on the G-Shock forum Tribe125. He sent me this beautiful GL-110V-3UR. This pretty rare G-Lide model is not easy to find. It is also not a pretty popular model, since it had been for sale for a few weeks, before it was donated to G-Peopleland. I think it is a bit strange, because models with a screwback are often wanted.
About a week ago I got the blue GW-001 Jason model. It was actually a mistake by the seller, but I think it was a happy mistake. It is a very colorful and happy looking watch and I like it very much. Instead of change it, I ordered the yellow model. The yellow Jason version arrived a few days ago. Since I have the vintage DW-001 model in yellow too, I was very excited to have this model in my collection too.
Last, but not least, I have gotten a new Crazy Colors model. It is not of the newest series, but the black/gold DW-6900CB-1DR model of the earlier 2010 series. I want this series complete. Now I only need the red version. I hope I can buy one in the future. Also I have a pretty expensive model in mind, which I hope I can afford soon.

I have made a quick update of my newest models that I received. Casio released some great models lately.
First is my pink Riseman of the Love The Sea And The Earth series. The color somewhat reminds me to the Operation Petticoat submarine.

Next the awesome GXW-56-4JR. The GX(W)-56 series are called "The King of G-Shock" by Casio and you can see why. It is the biggest G-Shock released by Casio up to this date. The watch itself is AWESOME! I have the orange version.

Last is the new blue model of the current Crazy Color series. It is actually not mine, but it's a gift for Bram. His old DW-004 has almost no paint left on the case and the fabric strap is also a bit on the end of it's lifetime.

There is also a "secret" update. I have gotten a model that I want to introduce on 50 Gs first. For the Riseman and the GXW-56 I can also recommend to read my 50 Gs weblog. Recently I published articles about these models.

I went out cycling with Bram this weekend. I also bought a new camera. It's the Casio Exilim EX-G1 "G-Shock Camera".

I made a little movie about our cycling adventures. Have a look. I hope you enjoy the landscapes of Zeeland.

Like I wrote Thursday, I totally forgot a great looking G-Shock. When I got it, I had to go outside again, so I hid it between some empty boxes...and totally forgot it. Since I got some other Gs coming in, my mind was at those models, while this beauty was hidden just near my desk. Well, I got it out of the package and made a great page for it. It might be a page with most detailed photo's. Check out the page I made for the third Lifted Research Group "Times are changing" collaboration model .

Yesterday I have taken a lot of photographs and edited them for G-Peopleland. First page is for my GW-3000B Sky Cockpit. I had no idea where to classify this model, but on the US website it is placed at the "classic" models, which are actually the basic models. So you can find this model on my website under Basic Models. In the past Casio called the Tough Solar Waveceptor models "The G". So I have placed a link to this model there too, although I don't know if this name still is active at Casio.
The second page is for my Hyper Colors GA-110B-4JF. This watch is very pink. Under different light situations it's hard to tell if it is pink or fuchsia red. I think the Hyper Colors series is a great series. If I had more money, I would had gotten the yellow and green model too. Still I hope I can get these in the far future.
I think I did not mention my new silver Crazy Colors DW-6900CB-8DR. Also this watch is awesome. In the first pictures the display looked red-ish, in later pink. The color of this watch is also a bit in between these colors. I would call it fuchsia red.
I notice I completely forgot a very special rare DW-6900 model. I got it a few weeks ago from a US G-Shock Forum member. It is looking very good. Somehow I forgot about it. Unfortunately I stored it away when I got it on an unusual place, because I had to go out of the house and didn't want to leave the package near the window. I first will try to make a new article for 50 Gs in time. I hope my blog colleague can help me out for next week, so I can make a page for this special DW-6900.

I have done some background work on the website. The list of Special Series had grown so big that it was not easy to view them all on one page when other series were added. So I grouped the Anniversary models to one page and the Men In Color models on another page. I hope this will do for a few years, although I have about 8 places for new series left...

I wrote a few weeks ago an article about my DW-6900BMO-9JR PostPet G-Shock. I used the same photos as I used on my 50 Gs Weblog. I had a lot of fun with the background photo. The original artwork was made by TraseOne. Have a look at this beautiful pink watch. It is quite a stunner.

The World Cup Football 2010 has begun and it started great for the Netherlands. The Netherlands won win 2-0 from Denmark. I am in a cheering mood, but not because the winning Dutch team. A package was delivered at school. I had to pay a pretty high tax bill, but I was forgotten this soon after I opened the package. I have my first Hyper Color GA-100 model, and this one is looking very good, it's the GA-110B-4JF.

I started updating G-Peopleland. Well, I am far from complete I noticed, but I am on my way. Today I added a second A.D.M.A. Codename and also an A.D.M.A. Baby-G. It's pretty cool to have this one, since the Baby-G version seems even harder to find. Also I got a new 12 Beasts model. It is a GW-300 model for the year of the Rat. Also I have added a page for the Club Style G-7501.

For photo's of the PostPet model and the GW-3000B Sky Cockpit I can sent you to 50 Gs. I already have published photo's of these models in the past weeks. A page for these models will be added in the future here too.

It has been a long time that I have updated the website. There was actually after the DW-6900CC-3CR not much to update for a long while, but in lately I have gotten a very nice looking looking older G-Shocks. Sorry I had to pass the G-6900G for other models. First I got a Club Style G-7501.

It has been on my wish list for ages, but I just didn't find it for a nice price. Well, I could get it for a decent price, but I also had to keep the customs costs from around €35 - €45 in mind if I buy it from a store in the US. In the past I helped out my friend Klaus in Germany to get one. Finally I have one too. It is a great looking watch, very nice to have in my collection.
As I am fond of trains, old and new, I couldn't pass this very nice Rail Star Hikari model.

It comes in a very nice decorated box. The N-700 Rails Star is one of the fastest express trains that run over the Japanese Shinkansen railway. You'll find a page for this model here.

Also I got two very nice Raysman on the house from my friend Neil in Chicago. One is the Guardian Angels model, which I already have. Now I have one to wear. This model was actually quite a big whish to me to have for a long time too. The other Raysman is the awesome Middle Sea Race model. Since I did a small study behind the Middle Sea Race, I think it is a pity that Rolex is sponsoring this race now.

For a long time it stayed quiet after these purchases, but now great models have been dropped at my door and are on the way to my house. No pics yet, but I managed to get a PostPet model that I have been hunting since about 3 or 4 years now. It was not cheap, but worth all the money I paid for it. It is both a fun as a great watch to see.

Lately I was watching the Tiktox website for some spare parts. I had seen they had the GW-3000B-1A, which was sold out pretty fast, but I saw they were back on (limited) stock. Long story short: three working days later it was on my wrist and actually it still is. Finally Casio is producing bigger models. I also have been looking at the recent Hyper Colors models. I have set my arrows on the pink version, but also the yellow model is very very very nice....

I know I have to save up money for my trip to Japan in December. I have saved up quite a bit, but I'm afraid I will need more. Still I can confess I bought some nice other G's. If everything goes well, I might have an LRG model in a few weeks, an A.D.M.A. set with Baby-G (that was an offer I can't refuse) and a rare 12 Beasts Camouflage model that has probably only been released in Hong Kong.

I have to update my website quite a lot I'm afraid. Since writing for 50 Gs consumes quite a lot of time, I do not have much spare time to make new pages here. Still I hope that I can find some time to add new models here. Maybe I can find some guest authors for 50 Gs to give me some time to do some work here. Meanwhile, check out the 50 Gs weblog. Most models that I have gotten in the past three month are shown there or will be shown soon.

I received a great green Crazy Colors DW-6900CC-3CR from Tiktox last week. I took some nice photo's of this colorful model. The 2009 Crazy Color DW-6900 versions have a metallic finish in the straps and bezel. It's a real nice watch and I wanted it for quite some time. Have a look at the page I made for it.
I am looking forward to watch model I will buy for next month (which I normally decide to buy at the end of the month). I can't afford an expensive model right now. I got a nice bill from the health insurance (I still can't use my elbow for 100%) and I expect some more bills. I like the green G-6900GR and the new black/gold Crazy Colors. I think one of them will fit my April budget.

It has been pretty quiet in G-Peopleland G-Shock wise, but last Friday I found three packages on my desk. Well, one was a very cool promo-cd with the remixes of Uffie's "Pop the Glock", which are absolutely great. Well, it's cool, but not the things you want to know. Another box was a G-7800B. It is a remarkable G-Shock. It looks a bit different, though leaning on the look of the classic 5600's. I got this watch from Tribe125. He made a puzzling joke by putting my name in the text memo above the time. Well, I now know that it has this function. It's also cool it you can choose between two fonts and hustle the day and date info along the bottom screen. Well have a look at the page I made for it.
The next box had two very nice Gs. Like before I keep these models a bit secret, before I have published them on 50 Gs. They are older models and I have said of one of them that I won't buy it, because of the color. Well, it might be just joking, because this model is looking awesome in real.

Talking about pages I keep a little quiet, in January I already made a page of the very beautiful UPSO x Mountain Dew collaboration model. I published an article on 50Gs in February. Have a look to the page I made for this model.
For those who know I like the big Star Wars Lego sets, I managed to get the exclusive set of the Tantive IV, which was released in September 2009. As you can see above, it's a masive set. I made a stop-motion movie of the building process. I thought it would took me about 4 hours to build. Instead it took me over 6 hours. The time between two photo's is 2 minutes. As a bonus I also assembled the new "Luke's Landspeeder". Enjoy.

So January is a promising month I think. Zero G-Shocks on the way. That's a long time ago that was happening. If I wasn't saving money for my trip to Japan, I would have jumped onto one or two Gs I guess. There is a beautiful silver Eric Haze model for sale for a great price and also a nice scorpion DW-6620. I have to confess I have paid already half of the price I agreed with a good friend on two classic Master of Gs. One of them I already have, the other one will be maybe a bit of a surprise... There are clear blue accents on it. Well, my apathy against blue is maybe not that big, though the Men In Earth Blue models are too much for me, ha ha.
I hope somebody buys that Scorpion before I go mad. Above the Scorpion featured in a 50 Gs article by Vintage.
I put three pages for new G-Shocks on-line. All three are very nice and if they aren't now, they will be rare in the near future. I don't want to guide you to the three pages. All three models will feature within a few weeks on 50 Gs I guess (I have written 2 of the three articles upfront already). For the regular readers of 50 Gs, you probably have noticed I got a new co-writer for this year. I hope you like Joakim's articles.
A few weeks ago I saw the video of Bastien Bollard. He is a pro-kite surfer sponsored by G-Shock. This week I received a mail from Bastien. If I could add his in the G-People section and show there his video. He was quite surprised I already had seen the video. He is a big G-Shock fan and owns several. That G-5500TS-9 looks great. He told me he was looking forward to own the new AW-591RED-4A (Redman model) and the GW-7900A-4. Today I made a page dedicated to him. Check it out!

It has been a while, but this is the first news bulletin for 2010. First of all, have a great, colorful and healthy 2010. May you get some great G-Shocks.

I normally don't make New Year vows, but this year I have one. I'm planning to visit Japan in December. This will probably cost me a load of money (well, I am actually sure it is). My vow is to limit my G-Shock purchases drastically this year. I guess 1 a month is almost impossible, so I set my goal to 1 to 2 a month. I will try to keep my new purchases under 20 this year. The G-Shock

Maybe a long time quiet, but some things have happened. First of all, the Final Frogman arrived. It's a nice model. I have not made a page for it yet. I think I'll first publish it on 50 Gs in the near future. Above a sneak peek.

Also two other very nice models received my house. Also these models will e featured first on 50 Gs. One of them was quite a holy grail for me and I actually didn't think I would ever get it. A good friend of me in Singapore sold me his watch. I got it yesterday and I must say, I am immense happy.

Very special was a package I received from Australia. For those who missed, I was interviewed by the legendary Sneaker Freaker Magazine. I noticed a great Shock The World T-Shirt on a movie of the Sydney leg of "Shock The World Tour 2009". Anthony of Sneaker Freaker stick out his neck to find this T-Shirt. I was very excited to see the T-Shirts. A big THANK YOU! to you Anthony. Many, many thanks!

I have been working forward for 50 Gs. Writing an article costs me sometimes a few days. Luckily I get some help from G-Shock friends. Still, G-Peopleland is not forgotten. Probably you know that I do not only collect G-Shocks, but also G-Shock promotional items and all kinds of T-Shirts.

I won a package of G-Shock goodies on eBay Germany. In it was a messenger bag, a G-Shock wallet and two G-Shock "Tough Tested" T-Shirts. Moreover, I also won an auction on eBay USA of a G-Shock Collectors T-Shirt. The seller offered me tow other T-Shirts as well. These official Casio G-Shock wear look very impressive! I hope you survive the background picture. Also I added two caps (one same as on the STW Sydney shirt page, one of the STW 2009 Singapore leg. I also updated my Shirts section. I have bought loads of KIKS TYO shirts the past years, as well some other brands. I added a section for my Stussy shirts (including my limited Eric Haze x Stussy shirt from 2008). Also my Fire Woman shirt of Hook Ups is added. I hope you enjoy my new pages and items. It took me three days to complete.

I made a deal with a good friend. I got my first watch for January in, but I have also the watches for February and March in my scope. Since the February models are looking fantastic, I think these months can end up with 2 models in those months. I would say, keep an eye open on G-Peopleland and also regularly check my Weblog 50 Gs. Normally every Sunday an article will appear.
