Normally I don't sell G-Shocks, but for a far friend I have made an exception. So I made up a package to sent out today. Two days ago the first snow of this winter had fallen. It was just a few centimetres. For today they had given a weather alarm. The combination of low temperature, heavy snowfall and a storm was that dangerous, that people were advised to stay inside if they don't need to go outside if necessary. Well, I should have listened... When I left home to the Post Office the wind was strengthening. More and more snow was beginning to fall. I was glad I took my clear cycle glasses with me. Normally there are a lot of people in Cue, but this time I was could walk through a desk of my choice. When I said: "It's very quiet here" the woman on the other side of the desk said: "What else did you expect".

I decided to visit my friend Ingrid, who recently had moved to Middelburg. She was doing something in the kitchen before the window, so she immediately saw me and pulled me inside. She showed me around in her new apartment and treated me with a nice cup of warm tea. When I wanted to go home 45 minutes later I had to dig my bike up in the snow. At some places there was a 15 - 25 cm snow blanket, and I really have to plough through the snow. Normally it is a 10 minute ride, but it took me at least 25 minutes of tough pedalling to get home. Not hard to imagine I didn't saw anyone on the road. On the main road an ambulance with sirens and flashlights drove barely 20 km per hour. Never been so glad getting home. On the news they told the public transport in our country is down. The temperatures will rise tomorrow to 7 or 8 degrees, so the problems should be over soon.

Did I mention that I, very unexpected, won an auction of a red Oakley Straight Jacket with Black Iridium lenses? Finally glasses that match my mountain bike. Let the sun shine!

This is the last news update this year. I wish you all a G-Reat New Year with loads of G-Shock's and G-People!

The Beer Hunt was again a big adventure. Bleephead showed some sweat on his forehead, when we drove over the Belgian boarder. He forgot his drivers license and on the other side of the road on the boarder the military police was checking Dutch cars. Around this time of year some Dutch people try to get heavy fireworks in Essen, Belgium. Two men in a car (with a child on the backseat) probably looks suspicious and we decide not to cross this border on our way back.
We started at a new beerhall, which we found without problems with my new PDA with GPS. They had a great assortment of beers that are rarely found in the Netherlands. I found the Gulden Draak (Golden Dragon) Vintage in a small corner on the floor. I also took a crate of Gouden Carolus Classic on my cart. Bram was very interested in the candy corner, so I bought him a pack of eatable paper.
The second beerhall was closed for lunch, which was actually a good idea. Unfortunately our regular pub Jagersrust (Hunter's Rest) was closed, so we found a new cosy pub for our lunch. It was called Grand Café "De Kroon" (The Crown). If you ever lunch in Huijbergen, I cab highly recommend their Bacon and Eggs. Bram was immediately in love with the bar lady.
Back at the beerhall I found some other nice beers. I bought some Framboises for the ladies and I found some bottles "Mere Noël". Probably my best catches were a big bottle of "Malheur Bierre Brut" (champangaised beer) and two bottles of Delirium Noël with different labels. I got a free glass with it. Of course it was printed with pink elephants everywhere.

The next and final destination was the abbey of Westmalle, the place where the famous Trappist beer of Westmalle is brewn. You can't visit the abbey, but we drove around it. The Degustation Room was unfortunately closed.
Because the road back was under construction, I programmed the GPS to find an alternative to the second beerhall, because it was near a very small road over the border. At start it was about 25 km, but when Bleephead asked 15 minutes how much km we had to drive, the display showed 31 km. We did it. We lost the road with GPS, nearly impossible. I tried to reprogram my PDA and the distance was turned back to 19 km. The funniest part had yet to come. We were in the middle of nowhere, on a small country road, in the neighbourhood of Breda and crossing the boarder. No sign of the military police. In no time we were back on the road.
If you think we got home easily, you're wrong. About 50 km from home we ended up in a snowstorm with sometimes a visibility of less than 100m. In no time it became hard to tell where the lines were on the road, and not long after that it even became hard to tell where the highway was anyway. We arrived home safely, but I think you can guess we were all exhausted. When Bram was in bed, I tried a Gulden Draak Vintage. It was a great nightcap.

Bram got a new DW-5600E today as a Christmas present of Leon. It was a replacement for the Club-G that was sent out at the begin of November, but never arrived. If it never turns up, it's probably the first time that something went wrong in shipping for me. Somehow I hope it's still waiting for me at the customs. I had to wait 64 days for cycle jerseys from the US once! Apparently the our customs are fund of US parcels.

Today I went to the Mountain bike route through the dunes of Westerschouwen with Bleephead. It was 1 degree below zero on my bike computer, which is always one degree too optimistic. Although wearing a helmet cap under my helmet, my ears were freezing already after half an hour (I parked the car several kms from the track). Bleep bravely stated he was going for two cycles(10km), but even he came back to that after 2km. I didn't mind, because my stomach didn't like this single track course too. I stopped several times, but somehow I couldn't throw up. When we finished the track (yep, one cycle was really enough for today) and were riding back trough the forest suddenly everything came out. I guess it was at least half a liter stomach fluid suddenly spraying to the pavement.
On our
way back to Middelburg, we stopped at a new brewery, which was just off out
route and I had to compensate for the loss of body fluid too
.
Just when I wanted to look for the building, I already drove on their parking.
You couldn't miss it, since it's probably the biggest building in that small
village, called Kamperland. The beer was nice, so this would be a nice stop for
a ride in the summertime.
I found a note of the postman. A package from Hong Kong already arrived. Good news, my dw-6900rc-1jf is here earlier than I expected. That would be my last G-Shock of the year. What would be my first?
Bleephead suggested to go for a beer hunt tomorrow. Eva has to work, so I will join him, with Bram. I think he doesn't mind, because he thinks the GPS is a computer game played by Bleephead. He bends in all kinds of positions in his seatbelts to get a good view...
Eva was a bit jealous, because beer hunting often means a lot of fun. Yesterday I found a nice lot of one of the best Bock Beers for a very friendly price (€0,50 a bottle), so now I have something special already for New Years Eve. Cheers!

I survived Christmas Eve again this year. I saw a lot of people that I haven't seen for a while. The biggest surprise was a girl, Diana, that traveled a lot with me in the train, when I was studying in a town 30 km from where I lived that time. She was a student of another school, but we traveled as a group from a small village, called Oost Souburg. This was all about 18 years ago, so she wasn't too surprised that I didn't recognize her at once. She told me she had lived in many places, even Ireland, but now she works for our Royal Airline, the KLM.
There were also a lot of G-People in town. At the first Café I met Ingrid, which I hadn't seen for a while too. Later on I saw my neighbor girl Jolien with her friend Cassie. The girl behind the bar was besides a lot of tattoos also wearing a Baby-G of the Ms-G series. Later I saw Leela and when I left to go home I saw Noortje, who recently bought a Baby-G from me and her friend, who is looking for a G-Shock too.
It was a hard Christmas morning. Although I went relatively home early at 3.00am, I had to get up early, because Eva had to work at 10.00am and someone had to look after Bram...
Well, getting up early, in spite of at least half a crate of beer, wasn't too difficult. I bought myself a nice pocket PC with GPS. First Bram wanted to watch his new Dora DVD, which he also found under the Christmas tree.
When the DVD was finished for the second time (yep, I took my time to wake up, sorry), we went for a drive with my new navigator. Funny detail is that the best voices of the software are called Eva and Bram. The other voices sound much to computed.

Now I laying lazy in bed, typing this news topic to get myself acquainted with the virtual keyboard, which get used much easier than I thought it would be.
O yeah, this is a G-Shock collector's site... I won a G-2300 which looks defective for €6,- last week. The screen looked blanc on the picture and the description from the auction told (in German) that it had been kept in a drawer for a very long time. Secretly I hope the Researchable battery has run dead, but will revive when I put it in sunlight for a long period. On the picture even the "Sleep" function doesn't lit, which probably means worse, but for less than €11,- it's worth the try I guess.
My brother Paul told me it takes a long time to load the news section. Maybe I have been too enthusiast with putting pictures in it, but don't worry. Another (half) year is almost passed, so I will split it up again next month.
Well, so far the news. Let's see what I am going to cook for New Years Eve...

Thursday, December 22nd 2005
Yesterday I got the G-Shock "Air & Style III" compilation CD from 1998. It contains great songs from a great variety of bands like Korn, Freestylers, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Apollo Four Forty and Moloko. Of course it's for my collection, but it's always better when the music on it is great.
Another Paul wanted to be in the G-People section. This time it's Paul A. from Western Australia. He works as a driller, looking for Gold and other metals. Rough but interesting job. He doesn't only have a few G-Shock's, he also has a G-Shock MP3-Player. It seems they were a gift if you bought a G-Shock of the Cockpit series. Today hew posted also on the G-Shock forum he bought a basic DW-6900 a.k.a. Triple Eyed Devil. As soon as I have some spare time (it's a mad house at the moment on school and I have several things to do here also for the school musical Roma (I do the Special Sound Effects).
I bought a G-Shock Club Style, released 2 months ago. I like DW-6900 variations, and when I saw this on eBay, I couldn't resist. I think it will arrive after New Year, since the postal services do not work much between the Holidays. Well, it's a great watch to start the new year with, isn't it.
I first thought I missed it, but when I looked back, I saw another model of this series, that's even better. Maybe I'm going to hunt the other one of the series too.

Today I also bought a PDA
with GPS. I like to drive to places I have never been before, but a little help
to show me the way is always helpful. My mate Bleephead has one and showed his a
a few months ago and I was totally hooked on it. Maybe it has a sexy voice too
.

Again a very cold wet and stormy day. Early this morning I received an "Alien Eye" in abused condition. The watchband retainer is ruptures and one of the watchband conducting rubbers is missing. On the other hand, it cost me only €4,50 ex shipping, so the disaster isn't too bad.

I got a new gadget for on my bike. It's cold the "FROG®", produced by Knog®. I even got two of these frogs a white front light and a red rear light. I think it's a G-Funny name. Analog to the Brazilian Frog, I call these my Australian Frogs. Of course I couldn't resist to make a funny post on the forum about my new Frog's. They are currently he lightest (12g) bike lights available!

I bought a Christmas Bear today in a garden shopping centre... I couldn't find anything at this Christmas Fair, until I saw this bear lying on a shopping cart with red bells necklace around his neck, making those Jingle bells sound. A shop assistant called from a distance the price of the bear, when she saw me looking at it. The necklace was sold separately, so it had two price tags. The cashier only scanned the necklace, so I told her that the bear had a price tag too. When we got into the car, my girlfriend Eva said that she wouldn't have mentioned the price of the bear (which was double the price of the necklace). Bram confiscated the bear immediately and named him "Flip". Well, Flip has now replaced Anne for a while on the start page. Don't worry, she will be back after the holiday season.

I've been working for on a Leatherman corner as a first topic in my "Other Crazes" section this week. Today I received a Leatherman XE6 "Purple Thunder", the most equipped model of the Juice series. It looks great in real. Finally a Leatherman with a corkscrew.
I also got nice Oakley sunglasses, a straight Jacked with Gold Iridium lenses earlier this week. Somehow the weather forecast only predicts dark, stormy and rainy weather since then and the end of it isn't near yet too.
Pieces of texts by Spinvis run through my head (roughly translated, as far as possible):
Astronaut
As tear silverized child
Astronaut
by darkness enclosed
Have a good trip, hold on tight
and be careful
give love what it wants
eat the fruit it bears
Don't look back,
go straight ahead

Friday, December 9th 2005
Ooops, that's a long time I have written in my news column. Last Sunday we celebrated Sinterklaas and Bram was showered with presents. I think he liked the racing track, a Batman costume and the Lego Police station the best. It took us hours to get the racing track ready to use, and I won't mention the time spent on building that police station...
Yesterday I got my "Buchstabe" G-Shock. It had quiet a life before I got it, but that will give it a more sturdy look I think. I don't have to worry about an extra scratch, you won't notice it amongst the others... Still a great watch though.

Funny detail is that my name in English is George. Several older models have the letter G in the EL display, like this DW-6630.
I won an "Alien Eye" last Sunday. Since I got the "Glider" last week, I want a second of this model too. Who knows, maybe I will find a nice "Rub a Dub" too.
I was planning to go to Bob Sinclar tonight, but Bram is very ill and Eva is also sick at home. Last night I haven't closed an eye, so I think I have to look out to another event in the future.
------------------------------
Wednesday, November 30th 2005
Today I received my "Glider", which is brand new. Also I got my single strap G-Shock backpack. Both packages were delivered just when I got home, so I was just in time.
When I posted some pictures of my covered DW-6900 on the G-Shock forum, I got some reactions of my 8 year old dirty keyboard. For a long time I was looking around for a new Desktop, and yesterday I pulled the switch. I spent quiet some money for a Logitech Cordless Desktop. I must still get used to this keyboard. I have programmed the mouse like my old one, so that was a quickie.

Today I won a very interesting watch. If I'm right it's a DW-6695. A DW-6600 model of the "Buchstabe series" with the letter "S" in the EL-Backlight. I wanted a Buchstabe version for a long time, but it was hard to get an "S". The watch is visibly worn a lot, so I don't have to worry about some extra scratches on the bezel...

For Non-I.E. users, I fixed the Extreme main page. I wanted to view the page yesterday in Mozilla, but got only the red text against the red background, without working links. I hope this was the last forgotten page, after the monster operation a half year ago, to make the site viewable for everyone.
A special message for Jurphaas. I went to several "Kruitvat" stores, but here they are all sold out. I even saw Margot this afternoon when I was shopping for myself. She had also checked out another store. She wants a new Blue Baby-G.

Monday, November 28th 2005
Well, due to the extreme weather conditions, we didn't arrive in Breda Saturday. Friday evening the combination of ice, snow and a fierce storm broke some high tension cables above the most important highways and roads out of the province. First the traffic information suggested to go through the tunnel, via Antwerp. When we got on the other side we were unhappily surprised with 10 to 20 cm snow. Since it wasn't really possible to drive very fast, we decided to go to Antwerp. While watching jeweler shop windows I learned that the G-7500 costs €99,- in the shops. I guess I have bought both mine for very good prices, specially considering mine are special editions.

I recently got a mail of Paul in the U.K. who was looking for a DW-003TL. Black case with negative display and white watchband. Although hard to find nowadays, I had seen exact the one he was looking for on eBay Germany. Yesterday he won the Auction. Today I heard from Paul that he had contact with the seller and that he has paid for the watch. I hope he is very happy with his watch. He had the same watch before, but it got stolen.
Today I received two Eagle Industries Unlimited covered watchbands, and olive and a black version. I decided to sacrifice a DW-6900 for the job. The cool thing of this strap is that it eliminates reflections of light on the display in the dark (special for military operations). The bad thing is when you want to know what time it is...TTTSSSSJJJJKKK! the Velcro betrays your position. Note that when you need such light discipline, it's probably very quiet, causing you to be heard for hundreds of meters... Still I think it looks very good, although it would probably better that a smaller DW-5600 (or DW-056) would fit better. I think I going to look out for some of them for a nice price...

Got a mail from the seller of the "Glider" that he got the money. The Glider should be here soon I guess.

Friday, November 25th 2005
It's real "Sinterklaas" weather. Storm, rain, hail and snow, a bad time to go outside. Still we want to go shopping tomorrow in a city 100km from here (Breda). I also want to go by that big bike shop, we went to two weeks ago. I saw a nice long sleeve shirt for Eva, a ultra light weight fluorescent yellow wind/rain jacket and a Oakley beanie, which I want to buy tomorrow.
I won the "Glider" today for a very nice price. I hope to get it next week. Finally one to wear. Still no sign of the Club-G for Bram.
------------------------------
Thursday, November 24th 2005
I've been very busy the past two weeks with all kinds of activities, but non of them wee G related. I still haven't received the Club-G. I don't hope it's delayed by our customs. The last time a package of me was hold up, it took 64 days to get to me (in stead of 3 days). I lost several nice auctions. One of them was a Men In Yellow Mudman, which finally swapped owners for AU$197,50 (€123,-).
Two of my recent activities
were brewing beer. The first beer was a basic triple type, which I brew with two
students. The begin specific gravity was a bit high, so the alcohol percentage
by Volume can rise very high (around 10%). The second beer was a double, a nice
brown ale. I guess that this one will be a decent beer with a percentage around
5 to 6% by volume. At the moment everyone that gets in our home have to drink
beer (Jupiler) to get clean empty 25cl bottles. When I came home tonight, I
found two new crates
. I guess when the beers are
really ready I can't see another beer for months...
Today I found a nice single strap G-Shock backpack for just €1,-. The national shipping price was 5.5 times higher, but who cares... It looked a little different than the one I already have, but probably it's the same. Tomorrow an other auction will end of a Glider. I would like to have one to wear, just like Karen does (yes the Glider on Karen is her owns). I hope I win this one.
When you check Karen page, you also see my Ed Templeton model of the 21st CB series. I found a nice page of "Toy Machine" one of his sponsors. There are nice photo's and artwork on these pages.
The postman has left a message that he wanted to deliver a package, but couldn't find anyone home (of course, Eva was shopping for my two crates of beer). He will deliver the package tomorrow again (if there is anyone home). I hope it's the Club-G, but it can be other things. I also ordered two covered watch bands. Very funny. It covers the display, so you can't see it in the dark, for instance at military missions. There you are, hidden on the bushes, observing the enemy. Then you want too check what time it is. TTTGGGSSSSSSKKK!, very smart.... The cover of the watchband is hold on it's place with Velcro! Let's hope that the enemy is standing next to a Jet engine.

Saturday, November 12th 2005
I received my 4th Yellow Raysman this week. Seems I'm hooked on this model, I have already 10 of them now.

At the moment there is a little Club-G on it's way to G-Peopleland. It was actually a watch for Bram. A Club-G is a watch looking like it's BIG brother G-Shock, but made in the size that it fit's children and sturdy girls. I never have seen one actually and I'm curious what Bram thinks about it.
Today Sinterklaas (Dutch name for Saint Nicolas) arrives with his steamboat in the Netherlands. Bram will look to his arrival with us later today. He is busy with it for months now, looking in the big toy magazines what he will ask for the Sinterklaas celebration on December 5th. We will see what the good Saint will bring this year...

Bram just ran into the house with a "Blue Dot". Finally after 11 months swimming lessons, he made enough process that he got his first "Dot", showing he can do the first basics of swimming.
I also got an enormous pile of pictures of my nephew Joseph, who lives near Tilburg. He got a new Baby-G this summer. Unfortunately it was delivered in my web mail box, so I have to download them one by one after a virus check. Probably later this week I hope to put them on-line.
------------------------------
Monday, November 7th 2005
Today workmen placed the new windows, but unfortunately they didn't finish. I improvised a bit and made a internet corner, so I could write some news, read mail and some posts on the G-Shock forum. We don't know when they come back to finish the work (don't worry, the windows itself are placed wind and weather proof, but on the inside it needs to be finished.

My node is bleeding again. Not my real nose, but my 2nd 21st Century Boys by Ed Templeton. When I got it, the watch looked O.K., but the watch band showed some where at the patches. I just took my red Revel scale model paint and tried to make the nose bleeding red blood again. After the paint dried I looked for something to make the nose holes. I found a sharp point CD-marker. What do you think?

Sunday, November 6th 2005
It was a busy weekend. Yesterday I went with my friend Bleephead and my brother Paul to a very big Bike shop, 75km from here. From the outside it looked like a small shop on a corner of the street, but once inside you'll find out that behind some old authentic Dutch house fronts, there was a 3 stories high enormous shop with a well hidden cellar. Loads of bikes in all price classes. Simple Mountain bikes for in the city starting from €400,- to full carbon racing bike frames for over €4000,-! We all have bikes, so we didn't need new ones, but there was enough to look for. The funniest thing was the new bike shoe look. Unbelievable, "Bling Bling" shoes in silver with chrome protection pads.
I didn't have so much money
to buy all I want, so I will return probably next month for a nice reflecting
rain coat and a good looking Oakley hat for a ride in Winter. I was
actually looking for a wind stopper, but I found a nice warm
"Brioches La Boulangères"
long sleeve jersey and a "Saunier Duval" wind and rain proof body warmer. CHeck
out provincial flag in my bedroom
.

Both for just under €50,-. When we returned Bleep and I went for a fun drive in the dunes. Of course in our new clothes.
Saturday night we went to a Belgian Restaurant with some friends. What would be a Belgian restaurant without special beers. This one had over 50 bottled beers and the main courses were served unlimited. I had two plates with Salmon in a Palm sauce. Terrific! Bleep and I took some nice beers from my seller afterwards. The end of a grand day.
Today I first cleared up my computer desk, because tomorrow they will place new windows, near my internet computer. Tonight everything must be clear and I won't have a internet connection for a while. In the afternoon I went to a friends children's birthday with Bram. We stayed for dinner. Although simple, it was very tasty with fish soup and very good pizza's. Since I came by car, I had only one and a half glass of very good rosé.

Wednesday, November 2nd 2005
The beer tasting evening was great. One of the frequent visitors brought one of his brews. It was awesome, rich and tasty flavors and very warm. It would be a good beer for New Years Eve. A little correction on the information about Bock Beers yesterday. A bo(c)k beer was traditionally the first beer brew from the new harvest. That's why they are only available in October and November. The last beer brew is called the Spring Bo(c)k. In the past the summer warmth wasn't a good condition to brew beer. The (autumn) Bo(c)K is more popular and widely known, at least in the Netherlands.

Bram and I are in a ADHD
mood. I just discovered the
Video clip of "STUNT" by Mr Oizo. Bram can't
get enough of this track. I guess he's developing a healthy feeling for good
Techno music! I want this 12"! I hope my G-Shock survives this assault
.

I missed an auction of a Black Helios Frogman today. I just was a few minutes too late to give my bid, although I wonder if I could have had the highest bid. Anyhow, the highest bidder must be very proud to get this nice G-Shock Legend for only €116,-.
Tonight I have my monthly Beer Tasting evening. We will sample some "Bo(c)k Beers" today, which can be very tasteful! For those who don't know what a Bo(c)k Beer is (can be written as Bok or Bock), it a traditional beer (mainly Dutch, but also brew in Germany and Belgium), brew as the last beer of the year. A bock beer is heavier than a normal lager and very dark brown of color.

Monday, October 31st 2005
Saturday evening Joost and I started to set all my G-Shock's at wintertime. We started at 19.00 (7.00pm). The last G-Shock was set at 4.00 (am) summertime (actually it was 3.00 (am) wintertime, because at 3 o clock the time turned back one hour). I had to change a lot of batteries, at least 15. There were several others I can't change the battery from, so I have to bring about 10 G-Shock's to my Casio Service centre one day... Next time we start in the afternoon. In the end we both had problems keeping our eyes open. I already made a new appointment with Joost for March 24 2006 for the next DST-Festival...

Saturday I also paid for a new yellow Raysman. It will be my 4th! From this awesome beauty you can't have enough copies! The other three have enjoyed the sunny Sunday yesterday. It was over 20ºC and you could easily walk in a T-Shirt outside, which is extremely mild for the time of the year (a few years back it was freezing 8 degrees at the same time of year I read in the paper today).
------------------------------
Wednesday, October 26th 2005
It was a long busy day today at work and now I'm enjoying a Westvleteren 12º, probably the best beer in the world and also the hardest to get. The latest news was that when the beer became available, there was a queue of 3 km before the monastery, while the Beer was limited to 1 crate (12 bottles) per car.
Big surprise yesterday. I received a watch, assuming it was a DWM-101 Rap Station. When I received t, I didn't notice the difference, but the watch turned out to be a mystery. On the back was the model number DWM-100 engraved, which is not so special. More curious was the HHH-Logo, engraved. There was also an S shaped logo shown in the EL light. A long serious search on the net only brought up a Japanese post of someone asking on a bulletin board for information of this watch. Well, that's exactly what I want to know about this watch, but until now, this watch is a big mystery. I will try to fins some Japanese contact via some bulletin boards, but I'm afraid there will not be much info.

<
I'm also in the race for a new in package Yellow Raysman. The seller bought it, but couldn't use it as a dress watch. I guess I have the right occupation. I can wear what I like most. Mainly that is T-Shirts, so I never have problems wearing BIG G-Shocks.
------------------------------
Tuesday, October 18th 2005
This night I found some interesting new music. One of my ex-students told me to look out for 2Raumwohnung (East-German for a two room apartment). I was amazed by the fresh electronic sound of the group. Don't expect pounding Techno this time, but fragile poppy songs. Spread the word.
This afternoon I placed a bid on a nice Rap Station. I don't see this black version of the DWM-101 around lately. It's in fact the same model watch Osama Bin Laden wore in one of the video's shown after 9-11-2001.
The shape of the metal ring on the bezel is very characteristic and easy to recognize. I found a mail this evening of the seller he agreed with my bid, so I hope to have this watch here in about a week (although it's a Dutch seller, bank transfers between different banks aren't always fast).
Tomorrow Eva and I will go with some friends to the new Wallace and Gromit movie: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (original version).

Since we are fans of Aardman and specially of this inventor and his dog, living on 63 West Wallaby street. I picked up my tickets this evening. I'm looking forward to see the first Wallace and Gromit movie since 1995, not counting the " Crackling Contraptions" shorts made in 2002 for the BBC.

------------------------------
Saturday, October 15th 2005
I received a green BG-341 and a DW-9005 Cosmoxer today. Finally as "Cosmoxer" to wear. When I bought my first G-Shock's back in 2000, I didn't have a internet connection at home and the only source for G-Shock's on line at that moment was a watch shop in Breda (indeed, where Watch-U-Seek has it's residence) showing a model with a reversed display. It costed somewhere around fl 250,- (€ 115,-), which was a lot of money for me around that time. When I finally had the money to buy it I phoned the shop. They told me it was an old webpage and that it was an old model... Not much later I found the same model at Megatime in Germany. I didn't speak a word German right then, but with some dictionaries I managed to order the "Heavenly High". I was disappointed that the watch I wanted for such a long time wasn't black but dark blue. Though I wore it a lot. Soon after that I discovered there was a black version as well, but somehow it was hard to get one. Instead I got a off-white version, the "Smokey Sunset". Finally May 2003 I got my first "Cosmoxer".

The past few days I have read about complaints about the Webstats4U counters. A few weeks ago they took over the free Nedstat counters, and since then websites got unwanted banners. There was one on our school website too, causing pop-up banners every time you opened Internet Explorer. Last week the first tits appeared on those adds, so the counters were immediately removed. Somehow I don't have those problems. I use Mozilla Firefox as my main browser, but even Internet Explorer doesn't show pop-ups. Still I have seen some warnings at top of my browsers. I would like to be contacted by people who have seen those Pop-Up's, since it looks that they are as soon gone as they appeared (could be also a cookie that blocks them of course). If you have problems seeing Pop-Ups, contact me! I'm a big numbers freak and I like statistics, but it doesn't mean that they annoy viewing pleasure. I pay much money to keep my website bannerless hosted!

Today I got another package of Tiktox. It didn't only contain a GW-700 for my Colleague Paul, but also several tools for adjusting metal bracelets of all kinds of watches. I immediately tested them on the bracelet of the GW-700 of Paul.

Today also a Baby-G BG-370 arrived from Germany. The sender Simone a bit worried about it, since she wrote me an e-mail yesterday asking if her package was already here. Well it's here and it's a nice piece, considering the price I paid for it (€6,01 ex. shipping).
Today I also won an interesting lot of 2 watches. The first one is a Cosmoxer which looks like in used but good state. The other watch looks like the same BG-370 as I got today. I hope the Cosmoxer is in that shape I can wear it, since it's a model I wanted for wearing for a long long time. When I bought the Heavenly High, back in 2001, I thought the watch was black. At that moment I wasn't aware there was a black model too.

Well, it was a most interesting beer tasting evening yesterday and a long day refreshing course "First Aid" too. Since Bram was playing a game on my computer I decided to do some shopping late in the afternoon. I met Bleephead, who had malfunctioning brakes, so I fixed that on the way. We went out to look for some Mountain Bike magazines, but unfortunately the new ones weren't out yet...
I made some additional pictures of my new GW-700DU and made up the pages of this and my new G-Shock's, the G-8000-4VDR and the gold version of the DW-6200 Rally. It took me a long time to make up these pages, so I hope you'll enjoy them.

Sunday
afternoon my mate Bleephead and I joined the yearly regional beer tasting
contest. Last year I ended on the third place with 3 correct beers out of 10.
This year I only tasted 2 beers right out of 10, but Bleephead had 5 beers
correct, which made him win 2nd place. He got a nice book about the famous
Belgian ale "De Konick". Well, he is a very lucky man, because yesterday his new
Cube mountain bike arrived. Tonight is our monthly beer tasting
evening, so we can prepare ourselves for the next contest in 2006

Today I made a page for the Antman. I found out it was released on 28th of October 2000 in Japan, so it's a very late Masters of G model, probably produced for a very short time, because the first Waveceptor models were released not much later I think. The gold DW-6200, GW-700 and G-8000 will be added later this week I hope. I'm off to "De Mug"!

Oooh my God, muscular pain all over my body when I got out of bed. Thursday a friend of me, who is in the organization of the heaviest Marathon of the Netherlands, called me if I wanted to escort with my bike the "Last Runner" of the "Kust Marathon" ("Coastal Marathon"). Of course I did like to do this, for the first time legal through the forests and dunes.

A colleague mountain biker, escorting the first male runner. Photo courtesy www.marathonzeeland.nl.
It appeared not possible to ride the whole track. Just after the 20km sign the runners go over the beach, but it was high tide then, so they have to run through rough sand. My bike was loaded in a big 4x4 pick-up by some great Baywatch guys. My GL-7500HD was a great companion, since it didn't only report time and hourly signal with it's vibrator, but also showed me the latest tide info. After been in the saddle for almost 5 and a half hours, I reached with the last runner the finish. With the compliments of my Primal Wear baggy cycling shorts, that made it a comfortable ride.

Well, a lot of G-Shock's arrived the past few days. Finally I have a red G-8000, which officially was released in September, but somehow this is the first reported on the G-Shock forum.

It looks very great, it is more tomato orange then fire brigade red. First it was hard to read the dial, but later I got used to it. It's great. It looks like it's taken straight from the "Space 1999" props. Finally a new G-Shock model affordable for everyone!

Another great find was a gold version of an Antman. With this Japanese only model I finally completed the whole "Masters of G" series. Maybe, in the far future, a normal red lettering Antman will be added to my collection too. Although normally models with red lettering are the most basic version of a model, this model seem to be more rare than the gold version.

Talking about gold, I also got a gold DW-6200 Rally. Nice watch. I never found it a great model, probably because it's absence of any light, like the DW-5900.
I also got a nice GW-700 from Tiktox of their Waveceptor sale. It looks great, like the MTG-930. It's hard to tell which one I like most, the triple eyes of the MTG or the G sign in the dial of the GW. My Colleague Paul indicated he also wanted a GW-700. Note that it's an U.K. version, that receives both the Mainflingen (G) and Rugby (UK) signal.
The last G-Shock I got was Ed Templeton's "Nose Bleed" model from the 21st Century Boys collection. On the way is still a Baby-G, that accidentally was delivered at it's sender a few days ago, so it will probably be here soon.

Well, probably you noticed there was not much news updates recently. My father in law had a very nasty infection two months ago, which resulted in a sudden cascade of other nasty things. Just as they thought it stabilized, he died yesterday evening at the age of 66. The last weeks were hectic. Eva had to drive a lot of times to Antwerp, where he was treated, while I stayed home, looking after Bram and arranging other things. Well the next few days there will be a lot of things that must be arranged, but G-News will continue soon, since our lives goes on, with in our memory the good days we had with him.

A black day for G-Peopleland. Our 15 year old cat suddenly got two heavy epileptic attacks in one hour. Two phone calls with the veterinarian learned us that she probably has a brain tumor and that it's growing fast, causing more and more attacks. We made the tough decision to bring her to the veterinarian practice, knowing that she probably won't return. Eva just left with the car 5 minutes ago (it's almost 2:00 am). It came as a real shock for us, since she has always been a very vivid cat. It's very hard for me to see this photo below. Goodbye little mate.... Rest in peace little girl....

When I ordered my GL-7500HD Hawaiian Pro Design, I also ordered a BGM-221 Baby-G of the G'Mix series. Last week I shot some photo's on the lab and now you can view it on my website. Enjoy.

I found a message from Rich Andrews in my Guestbook. Good luck friend, I hope you and your wife can help lots of people. Opening your home for homeless family is a good thought and will also intensify your family bonds, so eventually there are also positive things coming from this disaster.
It will take some time, but I ordered a GW-700 and a red G-8000 at Tiktox. The red G-8000 are currently not on stock, so I have to wait until it arrives. I can't wait though t see it in the Flesh! Since the price is not dramatic high, I probably will buy a green version too. Although nobody I know has seen it, some sellers already have them on stock. You can download the manual with the module number 2958 here, in case you are curious for it's features.

Friday, September 9th 2005
I found out that the Tiktox site is currently updated. You can contact them by the default website www.jksupplies.co.uk. I'm seriously thinking about buying a GW-700. Later this month I hope to buy at least one G-8000 (red version). I managed to make a nice funky remix for Voidd. I hope they release it on their next 12". That's it for now, have a great weekend.

Monday I got an e-mail from Csongor from Hungary. He owns a DW-6900 and a big DW-8300 Heavy metal. He bought the DW-8300 with the help of my tips in the "Where to Buy" section. Glad I could help him, the DW-8300 is awesome! He also sent me some pics of him and his G's, so now you can view him on his G-People Page.
Also I got loads of pictures of Ozzie and his wife Rieko of their vacation trip to Thailand. They have added comments to the pictures after viewing the rough version of the pages. These comments makes these two pages fun to read and a great addition to my website. Thanks Ozzie and Rieko!

Monday, September 5th 2005
We were off-line for a short period today. I think they have relocated the hosting location. Today I received a mail from Csongi from Hungary with some pics of him and his DW-6900 and DW-8300 Heavy Metal. He thought he was the only one mad of G-Shock's, but now he had found a great source. He included some nice pictures, so he will be added in the G-People section soon. I also got some nice pictures of Ozzie and his wife Rieko. These will also be on-line soon. At the moment I'm very busy with making a remix for a local band, called Voidd. My studio is almost running completely, so I need some time to work there too. Tomorrow I go to the monthly beer tasting evening, so you must all have a little bit patience before I'm able to make those three pages. Off to bed now...

Sunday, September 4th 2005
We are, after two days down, back on-line. 'm not sure if this is only temporarily, but I haven't been still here. I added three pages in the G-Promotion section, that were waiting for a long time to be shown here.
First is a leaflet with stickers, released in 1999 by the Association of Surfing Professionals. Second is a multifunctional G-Shock Pen. It also has a propelling pencil in it. The best thing though, is a nice pair of Sunglasses. It wasn't particularly a give away. These almost $100,- sunglasses are very good looking and appealing. If they were a bit cheaper I would have bought more. These glasses are very rare, even in Japan.

Yesterday G-Peopleland went off-line. My site is hosted by Direct NIC, located in New Orleans, which got a lot of damage of the hurricane Katrina. Fortunately Direct NIC is located in a skyscraper downtown New Orleans, so everything stayed dry. Although the servers ran perfectly through the storm, the servers were down yesterday. I think they ran out of Diesel, that powered the oversupply for the building. Here are some pics that Direct NIC has made of the disaster area around the building.

People looting the local bank.

Yep, G-Peopleland is somewhere in there....

I don't know when the site is on-line again. I know that the guys of Direct NIC are working very hard to get the services back on-line again. Check their web log here. As soon as G-Peopleland is on-line I shall upload this newsflash... It might be dated though when you read this for the first time.

Friday, September 2nd 2005
Today I received a package with two watches. The first one in a GL-7500HD Hawaiian Pro Design. I already have put it around my wrist and I'm testing the vibrating alarm yet. It feels very funny.

I have the hour signal on, so I get a vibe every hour on a moment I don't expect it... The second watch is a Baby-G BGM-221DM from the G-Mix series. Since I was wearing my PRG-80 and a Raysman recently, I had to look hard in the box to find the watch. It's small, but great. It has 5 melodies of, for me unknown, Japanese artists.

I also took pictures of my new G-Shock Sunglasses and a G-Shock pen yesterday. It will take a while to get them on-line. A band has asked me to do a remix for their forthcoming 12", so I have to set-up the studio today and/or tomorrow.

I have reached
50.000
Visitors Today!!!
------------------------------
Thursday, August 25th 2005
I survived August, barely. Two times our car broke down and our vacation had run our bank account almost dry. I finally have paid my Carbon Fiber frogman (Ozzie had shipped it, against my will, before I had paid for it).
I got a mail from Keith at Tiktox that he would like to offer a discount on three Waveceptor models that he has in his Waveceptor sales. Just click here to learn more! I think these are great prices for European models. I almost paid double for one of them recently and these prices includes shipping.
Tomorrow G-Peopleland will receive his 50.000th visitor!!! At this moment only 39 visitors to go. Who would have expected that 2½ years ago? I guess a nice occasion to get some delicious things from the bakery to celebrate this fact.
I bought another GL-7500 Hawaiian Pro Design at MSG Distributors. It will take a while to get it here, but then I have one to wear. I also bought a remarkable Baby-G G'Mix model. It's a Japan only model. I always wanted a G-Shock model of this series, but I seem not to have any luck until now. This little G has 5 melodies alarms. The funny thing is that they are all Japanese Pop songs... I'm also very curious about this one. Well, it shall be very quiet here with new watches for a while, because I have now already spend my September budget, without the month is even begun.

Sunday, August 14th 2005
Oooh, I'm stiff all over my body. I went out yesterday for a little fun drive, but I ended up riding up and down the dunes and off track for 60km. A little bit to much for an amateur as me. Well, the first 10km to Veere was easy, because I had promised Karen to visit her in the Grandma's Candy shop, where she works. She told me there were pictures coming from her with the T-Shirt I bought for her while she was parapenting in Italy. When I continued I run into Alex and Nance who were shopping with family and friends in the same town. Alex looked very interested in the MRG-121 I was wearing.
Half way the dunes I got a little accident. I was walking down the stairs of a dune (30m down, to steep to ride) with my bike on my back. When I was descended for about 20 meters, I liked to put my bike down, to relax my arm a bit, but at the same I felt something bumping against my bike from the back and a shopping back and fishing rod flew by. When I turned around I saw a little boy, about a 8 to 10 years looking at his hand. When I asked what happened he showed me his pointing finger. While running down the stairs he couldn't stand still anymore, and his hand ended in my rear cogs. One of the teeth had penetrated his little finger completely. When I pointed that he has a nasty wound his face turned white and I was afraid he would faint, what fortunately not happened. He returned to the camping where he stayed with his family. I hope everything will heal quickly.
Since I returned from vacation, the Carbon Fiber frogman was waiting in it's box to be photographed for this website. Well, I took those pictures a few days ago and most of them were also shown on the G-Forum under the threat "Pictures of my new Baby". This Frogman is in my opinion one of the best ever made!
Today I decided to split up the 2005 news section, so the page loads faster and my bandwidth isn't drained too much. You van view the old news topic of course by following the links at the bottom by scrolling down this frame.

It's my sister
Thea
birthday today, congrats sis. Yesterday I went with the family to the fun fair,
that was in our town. After that we went about 8 o' clock to the terrace of
The Mug.
I planned to stay for 1 or 2 beers. I returned home around 4 and woke up this
morning with a herd of elephants dancing in my head
.
A good remedy against that feeling is building web pages, so I updated my G-People section with three (!) new people, from three different countries. First is Jochen, a cyclist and G-Shock collector from Germany. He contacted me in his search of a Gaussman. Second is Rauol from France. I don't know much about him, because he did only speak French and I don't speak a word. He was very friendly though (All the French people I saw in the Jura were extremely friendly people!). Last is Joella, the 6 year old daughter of a fellow G-Shock collector. He gave me this picture to show it in the G-People section. He thought she would be the youngest G-Person, but check Emma. She was 3 months old on that picture. I think she is the youngest person in that section that is wearing it regularly.

I found some pages that still weren't all browser proof. I fixed it today, so that every one can view those pages. in fact these pages were my old welcome pages, that I had forgotten over the past 2 years. It's nice to see Bram so small and cute back then. I'm currently working on new pages for Jochen and Raoul in the G-People section. Since I'm off to bed now, they will be finished tomorrow.
------------------------------
Monday, August 8th 2005
Yesterday evening I returned from a 10 day vacation to the French Jura, near Switzerland with the family. It was great and we have done a lot of things. I met a French guy, Raoul, who was wearing a DW-003S. Unfortunately he only spoke French and I don't. His wife spoke a little English, so I managed to convince him to join the G-People section, so he will appear there soon.
I also met a very nice German guy from Leipzig, who wanted to ride a Mountain bike trail with me. Unfortunately I had ridden through some high hills that day, and I felt that the next day would not be a good idea to ride already. I never knew a 250m climb could be so heavy, although the views were great. It took me only about 7 minutes to ride down hill to 460m, with speeds up to 50 km/h over narrow mountain roads with hair pin curves, and about 45 minutes to get back at 730m. If you are used to my pancake country, this is very heavy. Later I tried some local roads, which were between 750 and 690m with less steep slopes. They were easy to do for me.
The heaviest thing I did was finding a road sign in a village, pointing to a 947m high peak. When I followed that sigh I found different Mountain bike routes. I decided to follow the 46, which was also a walking route. The first few 100 meters were easy, but then it became steeper and steeper. The track was mainly formed by mud and stoned. Although the sun was shining and it was late in the afternoon, it looked like the sun was going to set soon. I remembered the words of that German guy: "You feel one with the forest". After a few kilometers I felt like alone one the world. If anything would happen (and that chance was not unthinkable) nobody would find me there for at least a day and I also forgot my mobile phone.
At 825m, the path started at 700m, the path was suddenly closed by a barbed wire fence. When I tried to step off my bike, which is not easy under such angle, I found a small "wild gate" several meters of the beaten track. At that moment I was almost out of water and had not much energy left. I managed to climb up to a little meadow, where fallen tree blacked the road. Totally exhausted and knowing I had to rise another 100m, I decided to go back. I think my braking disks must have been glowing red hot, because even with blocked wheels, my bike slided down through the wet mud, rocks and stones. Several times my rear wheel even tried to pass my front wheel and I think you can imagine I was glad wearing a helmet and glasses! Small rocks were launched constantly, and when I released my breaks for a few seconds, I was raging in no time over 45 km/u downhill. This must have been that track for pro's, where that German guy told me about, and not an easy trail, as where I was hoping for.
Back at the camping I told that I had tried track 46. Some walker heard my conversation and where amazed that someone tried that track on a bike! They had walked the same track earlier that day and couldn't believe a bike could ride such slopes. Well, it could (but obviously not by an amateur like me).

When I got home, I found some packages. One of them was from Japan. A few weeks ago I reserved a G-Shock from Ozzie and I ordered a very nice G-Goody. I agreed to pay it in September, when he returns from his vacation and that he would sent it after my last payment, but during my vacation he decided to sent my package upfront. Today I have the battery replaced of the G-Shock and soon I will make some nice pictures for the website. In the meantime you may guess what I have bought. I can only tell you it's wanted even in Japan and hard to get and it is not a Brazilian Frogman.
I saw a several entries on the guestbook placed during my absence. It's great to have feedback from fans, so if you haven't signed yet, be my guest! I also got some mails and private messages with questions and concerns where I had been gone for the past two weeks. I think I have answered every mail and message, if not, feel free to contact me. Well, my glass of Cognac has ran dry so I'm off to bed, it has been a very busy day today. Cheers!

Two days ago
Bram
cycled for his first time without help. He had great fun. Even when he rode the
3rd time into the grass and was launched over his steer, landing on his face
with his body curving like a scorpion, he still was excited! I should have gave
him a G-Shock to test it on the fall
.The only
thing we have to learn him now is to brake!

I made some pictures of my new Triple Crown Frogman. It's awesome. For a long time I wanted a Triple Crown model, but every time something came between. Lucky for me Casio released 3 Triple Crown models, a blue, a red and a green model. I think I keep this one for the collection. It is still wrapped in plastic with the tags on. Since my money source is ran dry again (Those Frog's don't grow on trees, I also bought a Pro Trek PRG-80 and we had an expensive car repair) it will take some time for me to get a new model, but I can tell you that at the end of August or the beginning of September there will be a great addition to my collection, straight from Japan.
------------------------------
Monday, July 25th 2005
I found out a special feature found on G-Shock models. I'm not sure it's on all G-Shock models, but if you if you push the upper left, bottom left and the bottom right buttons together, the watch displays a test screen. If you push a button it returns to normal functions again.
Saturday I went out for dinner with my parents. My oldest sister Mea came over from a little village near Tilburg too. Earlier that day she went to the beach. When she went back to my parents she took off her watch, to wipe the sand off. At my parents she grabbed all her and her children's stuff to take it inside. Accidentally she slipped the watch and it fell on the street. When we went home, she waved us goodbye, but she also saw something blue on the street. It appeared to be her completely smashed Baby-G.....

It's summertime and I have my school holidays until August 29th! Tuesday I received my Triple Crown of Surfing 2005 Frogman. It's a great looking watch, army green watchband, black case. It also has the Triple Crown Logo in the EL light.

For the rest I'm not much indoors. I only check the Tour de France from time to time, but most of the time you can find me on my bike. The past three days I have ride over 100km. 2 days ago I went with Bram on the back through some low dunes in "Zeeuwsch Vlaanderen", on the other side of the river "Westerschelde", yesterday I wasn't planning to ride a long trip, but I after 30 Km I ended up under the dunes, so I drove a good 10 km over the dunes. My knees and legs are complaining now a bit, so no bike today.
I decided to put back the picture of Anne. Happy for her, unfortunately for me, she has passed her final exams with great results. I hope she will have a great time at the University with her study Criminology.

Friday, July 8th 2005
It's going to be my last working day today before the summer holidays. Normally I would look forward to it, but I'm still having that bad bronchitis. It holds me out of my sleep every night, so I write this at 6.00 a.m. local time. Won't be a hard day today though, only a personnel meeting and a drink (spring water for me that would be). I to get on my bike in the weekend, but I'm afraid it won't be fore a long ride...
Yesterday evening late I decided to purchase a green version of the Triple Crown Frogman. For a long time I wanted to have a Triple Crown G-Shock, but somehow I wasn't lucky enough to win any of those auctions when they appeared on eBay. Lucky for me, Casio released the Triple Crown Frogman model in three different colors. Although I have the PRG-80-1V, I'm seriously considering a PRG-80T too, but that will be in the far future, since I already spend most of my June budget yet. I'm also after an old punk 7" single, which I'm looking for, for more then 18 years! I hope I win this auction Saturday morning. Well, I'm back to my tea with honey, see you later...
------------------------------
Tuesday, July 5th 2005
Since I lost my voice Friday night health is not that what it use to be... My doctor told me I have a viral bronchitis and that it takes about two weeks to get over it. The only thing I can do is drink a lot of tea with honey and Codeine to reduce the coughing...
Luckily I got 2 CD's this afternoon of Joey Beltram. The first one is his newest, "Rising Sun", the other is a compilation of his releases on "TRAX RECORDS". Great how these TRAX guys work. Some of the tapes are lost, so they re-mastered track direct from vinyl! Normally no big deal, but TRAX is famous for it's inferior vinyl quality and even re-uses 12" records to make new ones, so that parts of old labels sometimes can be found in new releases... Also they are known for the way they pay their artists. Or better, how they don't pay the artists. And while the whole world is searching for a copy of Phuture's "Acid Trax" or "Slam", they are probably lying there in their warehouse in an unnoticed pile of records. I once even read an interview, I guess it was with Speedy J (Jochem Paap), but I'm not sure, that the roof leaks and in order to keep dry feet, they use old records to fill the pits with rainwater. Probably you now know how a TRAX-records sounds like, but that makes a TRAX record a TRAX record. Indeed, tracks of the album have cracks and hiss in the recording, that loud, you must be almost deaf to ignore it. Super. Just a small guess... I think Joey didn't know about it's release until it was out and I think he also can forget his money....

I also got another package later today. It was my PRG-80 Leon sent me. It's great. It's not just an improved PRG-50 with a Countdown timer, Stopwatch and Worldtime, but the Barometer and Altimeter have also an extra direction pointer. Also the knobs and the sensors are located different. A nice watch to play with. I hope I get well enough soon to take it with me outside. It was hard for me to tell a friend who called me this evening, that I couldn't come mountain biking this evening. He said he was going to ride 2 hours in the dunes. I wish I could be there too...

Ja tvoi Sluga
Ja tvoi Rabotnik
The concert of Kraftwerk in 013 Tilburg was awesome. Amazing how these man in their late 50's can still make this super modern kind of music. The performance and video presentation was unbelievable, while the sound technique was perfect. In two and a half hours they played a lot of known and less known songs of their impressive, over 30 years, musical career. Specially the projections about the Trans Europe Express/Metal on Metal and both new and old version of Tour the France were fantastic... Speaking of witch, the Tour started today with Armstrong in super shape.
At the after party Lady Aida and Juan Atkins were spinning records. I managed to shake the hand of the man that was one of the founders of the famous Techno Sound of Detroit. It's commonly known that Detroit Techno was heavily influenced by Kraftwerk. You can state that yesterday a band and a DJ/producer were under a roof who both changed musical history.
I bought a "Autobahn" cycle jersey, and today I ordered a "Tour the France" cycle jersey too. For those who didn't know why we didn't hear new material from Kraftwerk between 1986 and 2004, Florian and Ralph dived into another hobby, cycling.
I had a sore throat when we
went on the road, and I already lost my voice half way. Very pity, since I saw
many interesting people wearing G-Shock's and wearing nice shirts
.
The coolest shirt I saw was one of "Bunker Records", an underground Dutch Techno
label, producing raw uncompromising electronica. I also met some guys from
Friesland, who traveled 4 hours to see Kraftwerk and Juan Atkins. At first they
thought I was dumb and it took some time to convince them that I probably had
lost my voice temporarily, although it still hasn't returned well.... I guess
draft and the 10ºC temperature difference between different places at my school
(viva la air conditioners) would have a big debit to that.
Yesterday I also received a package with two Primal Wear Cycle jerseys. Finally my Mini Me and a Web of DeSeat.

Do you like them? Well, I now have enough jerseys to get on my bike every day of the week... Less funny was the Tax bill of €46,61 that companied the package. €22,48 value added tax and €24,13 for making up the papers and holding up the package 55 days!!! Very funny, looks like they want me to stick with the stuff you can buy here. I have some more packages on the way that seem to be hold up, so I'm afraid the customs have finally found a milking cow, like I have a money growing on my back.
