The first G-Shock of the Frogman
design was the
DW-6300,
released in 1993. It didn't had the name on the case, but it was soon
nicknamed Frogman. It was followed up by the
DW-8200 Frogman
in the "Masters of G" series. The next
generation Frogman was the
DW-9900,
with the Frogman text on the right.
The Seaman (DW-9950)
is a slightly different overseas version of this Frogman model. The
newest generation Frogman is the
Tough Solar GW-200.
In Japan the Frogman is one of the most loved G-Shock types amongst collectors. |
