| Tom Cruise wears a similar DW-6900-1V in the movie Mission Impossible 2. There is a scene where he descends from a helicopter in s sort of chimney. At the bottom of the structure he starts the timer of his G-Shock. Someone called this type of G-Shock once a three eyed devil. Along with the DW-6600 this watch is still a very popular watch by American firemen and policemen and therefore it can be considered to be a classic. I also got the basic model in gold tone. | ||

| Well, the special effects guys have done their job well. Not did they get rid of the G-Shock lettering on the case and G-Button, they also changed the module. This supposed to be the timer. They didn't change everything. The inner case lettering is still intact, and the word "ILLUMINATOR" is of course a trademark of Casio! | ||
