Strangely
enough, I didn't had a DW-9000 in my collection until 2007. Maybe it was
my preference for the DW-004 (with the same module). IT was released in
1998. A version with a black button and rubber strap was issued by the
French Navy Divers. Check out the
military version on Jean Michele's
website (it's in French, check out the
blue links marked "ICI"). As you see, this one also has some battle
scars, but it functions still smooth.
